Not sure what kinda doner the people of Sheffield love since 1986. This might be a different style, I found it salty, kinda tasteless and greasy not to my liking. Chicken doner wasn't that great either. Naan went tough in less than 10 min of me eating the meal after receiving. Okay the salad was fresh and the yogurt mint sauce was nice. Price wise can't go wrong with portion size, you might enjoy like most other people who have reviewed. Service was okay, not long of wait time. Edit to owners response: the chicken pieces were basically lumps of fat if it wasn't chicken doner then.

Nice donnor but need to increase portion sizes as it is very pricey. The large portions are very small compared to other takeaways. And at the end you still feel hungry which is a shame. They also need to get on Uber eats. Would be 5 star if they were less stingy with portion sizes.

My, this is one of the first places that have gotten an all five from me! The atmosphere is like no other— it’s just so warm; so welcoming. The service is brilliant and the, who I believe is the owner, is never frowning, and is always willing to have a little chat. The cafe is like no other, and rather feels more like a place where you would go to just… I don’t know… relax. A place to escape from the hustle and bustle of life. There is a large array of books available for customers to read, including religious texts, such as the Quran and the Bible! The art on the walls is immaculate, and it just has all of the tell-tale feels of a quaint cabin, situated far from civilisation, where one can escape. Don’t get me started on the food… I LOVE IT! It is the best kebab I have ever had, and is, in fact, the best kebab shop in Sheffield — perhaps even Great Britain! I’ll admit, it is pricey, however, it’s all worth it in the end, when you can enjoy a nice medium well chicken kebab on pitta, with chilli, chutney, and salad, or a well done lamb kebab on pitta, with the same toppings as mentioned before. The food is definitely the best, and I’d recommend it to everyone who finds themselves in the area. If you want a nasty old, possibly un-fresh, kebab, then there are many places in the UK you can go to, but, if you want a kebab, where you truly do get your moneys worth, then the Kebab Kafe is for you.

Love the food, tastes amazing but the prices are little expensive especially £3 for large chips that wouldn’t fill a small box.

The only large part of my meal was the pitta bread and not the content. Seems the common theme is the inconsistency in what you charge and portion size 1st and last time unfortunately

Small portion off frozen what ever meat they wanna call it, uncle sees the sauce as gold very greedy on that one Didn’t feel okay after I ate the meal will definitely not be going back! Do not recommend at all

From the friendly service to walking through the door to an exceptional tasty kebab, meat so tender, fresh and full of flavour, definitely recommend, we only get chance to visit a couple of times a year as we live over a 100 miles away but never miss the opertunity to visit, definitely recommend,

The baba working there is so nice and chatty. I had home made somosa and a chiken burger... yummy somosa... the burger was a frozen fillet but tasty and fresh. ..... I recommend the kebabs next time.

Loved the food, best kebab I've tasted. Naan and donner was very soft, grilled shish was full of flavours. Cant go wrong with their food would definitely recommend if dining in or taking out .

A cut above the average kebab shop both in terms of the food and the atmosphere. A mix of conventional tables with chairs and sofas are available, and the vibe is comfortable, and more restaurant than take away (though it is also popular for take away).

I've been going here for years because the food is lovely,even though I always thought it's a bit pricey and the portions are small for the chips and kebabs. The owner is a nice friendly chap too. The donner is quite enjoyable, hence the repeat visits over the years. It seems like the prices have gone up further and I decided to call it quits. Like some of the other reviews. Main issue is the portion size and price. If that was adjusted that would probably bring in more customers. This is not an attack or disrespect. Simply, an honest opinion.

food poisoned last night doner was cold sauce looked like it hadn't been used due to it being full, the place is always quiet prices are ridiculous for chips, large means large not small dread to think what medium portion looks like, ask for tissues you get 1, proper tight, and half of a takeaway box food is okay ladt time but they decided to serve last weeks doner i think will not be going back, been feeling sick all day

We are the regular customers but the problem is that everyday the prices changes, got charged £18.00, 2 days ago for the same food and today got charged £21.00, portions sizes getting smaller day by day. £4.00 for an extra large chips is completely ridiculous. Pricing going up by 50P is not a good explanation! Definitely not worth the money!!!!

Even with the best of intentions, I tend to forget to review businesses after having a good experience but I haven’t forgotten this one and wanted to make a point of reviewing this amazing cafe. We went in to wish our sister in law a best wishes get together just before giving birth, and had the best time. The comfy sofas, to the look, the atmosphere. We were admiring everything and appreciating the simplicity and the 80’s look. We had already eaten elsewhere so only had tea in there but when we got up to pay, the owner said it’s on the house, I’ll charge you next time. I thought it was such an awesome way of doing business and I sure will go in again. I have already recommended the place to several family members and it’s only been a few hours. Just wanted to say a big thank you to the kind gentleman … it really isn’t about getting free tea but rather the warm welcome from the owner and greeting us in such a pleasant way. Will definitely go again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to chill :)

Absolutely fantastic! The food is superb, the service is so friendly, and the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated. Best kebab I've had and would really recommend.

Came here last night and I definitely did not regret coming here. I had the doner and chicken kebab on naan with mint sauce and salad on top and despite the portion being slightly small at first it definitely filled me up and tasted excellent. Afterwards we ordered gulab jamun and ice cream and Karak chai which both tasted excellent. The Karak chai was as good as the Karak chai from chaiwala and I definitely will come back here again.

Very small portion and prices are different than what he wrote on board we spent almost £40 and we all were still hungry .. plus he didnt gave us proper bill i mean he just told me what i need to pay when i ask for bill he asked me write down on paper while he was telling me the price. Never again

The new decor drew me in. Once inside the deco is simple, yet elegant. The shop floor, and open kitchen are gleaming. The food is fresh and cooked in front of you;. Must be the tastier donner I have had by far. The price is reasonable for the quality of food, and service.

To rate this place anything more than 1 star people you have not lived outside sheffield. How can you be served tiny pieces of rationed meat and prepacked naan bread and then be charged £8.00. Not value for money for the portion of food served.

Brilliant food. Short and concise menu but everything's done well. The doner kebabs are perfect, the guy makes the mix and spices it himself which explains why it doesn't taste like your usual gross processed stuff.
