1887 the Brew Room in Blackpool

I was recommended by a friend to visit here and throughly enjoyed my visit considering I don't like Ales/IPA I actually quite liked Wonky Donkey. I must say I recommend the Sausage thing they do on the food menu was very huge and well worth the money.

Sought this one out as I like my real ale. The Covid arrangements were acceptable rather than rigid but one member of staff was friendly enough while the other one the following night seemed to be bored. I tried a couple of their home-brews but unfortunately I wasn't keen. There was nothing wrong with them, they were just not my cup of tea which was a shame.

Visited on Saturday, and good social distancing measures in place with the exception of a book for numbers and names to be taken left idly on a beer keg, with no pen around, nor were we asked to write it down. No hot water in the ladies and the bar man who looks like Nick Berry clearly did not want to be there. Nothing worse than a bar keep who isn't hospitable. He wouldn't be behind my bar, no chance.

My favourite pub in Blackpool. Great home brewed beers and a great atmosphere. Love the real fires in winter too.

...but as a personal favourite we had Peroni which was well priced and served by very friendly staff.

lovely place for real ale . family with kids welcome. staff excellent . very clean . Good choice of ales .

Visited Blackpool overnight and dropped in here for a couple of drinks. Lovely pub, chilled out, good music, nice choice of beers. If you want a more laid back view of Blackpool this is the place to go.
