Food is normally very good but their customer service is terrible. Had such a terrible experience with them after they got our order wrong. I called them just to flag the mistake but told them i wasn't asking them to change anything or give us anything as we were happy to eat what they sent in error but they absolutely would not accept that they were wrong and were incredibly rude. I will never order from them again.

Friendly, helpful very polite staff. Food was delicious and good portion sizes. Toilets very clean. A very pleasant evening spent at 148 Lordship Lane Chinese Restaurant !😀 we shall definitely return, thank you!👍🏽

Had a nice time with family. Only thing was I asked for coke with loads of ice and it seemed to be in limited supply, they then bought over a small container with another small serving.

Not the cheapest but the food is delicious. Very fresh and great flavours. Recommended the chicken satay, egg fried rice and sweet and sour prawns. Out of this world! Great for takeaway and dine in for special occasions.

Ordered chicken pad thai for the 1st time and previous experiences it’s never been spicy, on this occasion it was spicy and I called the restaurant to see if there was anything they can do and they said there wasn’t unless I payed. Really not happy about the customer service and the attitude, won’t be going back there again very disappointed

I was unsure about Chinese as before I has made up of sticky food in sticky sauces the first joy was the amazing smell coming from the building as we approached a very clean simple interior . The staff were excellent but the male waiter was rough and pushy. The crispy duck was excellent juicy and every scrap was demolished. We were unsure of what we wanted for a main which was not a problem and we ordered after the duck . Salmon teriyaki sizzling. Broccoli with garlic and rice. All fresh and very delicious. I would recommend this restaurant for sure

Can’t really fault this place. I normally go for takeaway. A prompt and friendly service and the bonus is, it’s across the road from where I live.

We visited 148 on 30th December as we had some friends staying with us from Liverpool. The food was amazing and service was excellent, both Carmen and Michelle (Ping) were so friendly and attentive and the food was the best chinese food any of us had eaten in a long time.

We arrived for our meal and our table had been given away because they had tried to call us to confirm our booking but after speaking with them, they managed fo accommodate us which was great. The food is the best Chinese I’ve had. It really was so good as was the service. I highly recommend the salt chilli prawns and prawn and chive dumplings. This is now my go to local Chinese

I’ve been getting takeaway from 148 for the last two years. Decided to mix things up and eat in. Great experience, fast and friendly service. Big shout out to the staff! Big fan of the BBQ Ribs and Wonton Soup! Also got the Kung Pao chicken…. Delightful 👌. Watch out for the chilli peppers 🌶 … bit into one and got some serious heat 🔥 🔥

From the moment we stepped into the restaurant we received a first class service. The staff were helpful and friendly, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and relaxing. We will definitely be returning again.

Had another epic takeaway from 148! Very satisfied - if this is not on your radar I highly recommend trying the #52 beef in black bean chilli sauce 🌶! I like to mix it in with the egg fried rice 👌
