Can't fault this place. Amazing food, wine and cocktails with a friendly service and cozy atmosphere.

If you want to enjoy great food, great wine and a great atmosphere come here. The staff are so friendly. Nothing is a problem. The charcuterie board was incredible and if you think you will be hungry afterwards. You are so wrong! We even share the dessert board amazing! The only thing I would say is please use real chocolate for the sauce. Thank you. We will come again!

I initially heard about the from some of my work friends who all had very high praises for the selection and quality of both drinks and food. I decided to suggest the wine bar when some of my friends and I were planning a get together, we eventually settled on coming to 1086 and were really impressed with the way the staff welcomed us on entry and the general vibe of the place. We sat and ordered a cheese board to share and I decided to have a glass of their house red with it. The meats were really nice but my favourite thing that I had was the ‘Delice De Bourgogne’ (I had to double check the name though). After the cheese boards we had some of the wide selections of cocktails my favourite was the Salted Caramel Espresso Martini. Overall I was really impressed with the atmosphere, food and staff, I will definitely recommending this place to others and intend to come back already.

A nice place to drop into for a drink and meet up. Probably better in the summer when you can sit outside as the room is not very big and no soft furnishings so the chatter bounces off all the hard surfaces and it's a bit noisey. There's also nowhere to hang coats which is difficult when they are wet, and would suggest a few coat hooks on the wall. Food is simple; charcuterie and cheeses - you choose two of each - which are of very high quality and come to the table in a wooden box. Personally I would have liked to be able to choose all brown bread, rather than the offer of one white and one brown slice. Parking is available but monitored by camera and time limited so important to log in.

Popped in for a quick drink on Sunday afternoon as I saw their post about 2 for 1 cocktails and ended up spending several hours here as they had a singer playing with his piano. He was awesome and took loads of requests too. My wife had to drag me away in the end, we had a great time. Thanks 1086!

Came for the 2 for 1 cocktails and the live Piano. Excellent drinks and even better service with friendly staff whom were knowledgeable about the wines. High quality food and most enjoyable.

What a lovely winebar. It is tastefully decorated and the service was great. We had a Plougman’s and an open sandwich which was reasonably priced and delicious. I really want to try more drinks as well, as the non alcoholic cocktails we had were lush.

Excellent pizza panini’s accompanied by a wine tasting flight. Amazing lunch experience in a great atmosphere. Will be back for a evening sometime soon.

Beautiful bar, great atmosphere, the staff are lovely and the wine was good. But… £37 for 2 of us share a few bits of cheese and meats in a box with 4 pieces of not very fresh bread and a handful of crackers ((there were some overripe grapes, couple of chutneys) was a total rip off.

Lovely little bar in Botley Friendly staff and very welcoming We had a party of 9 and all of us loved the experience and would definitely return and highly recommend. Great food and the cocktails were amazing

Such a wonderful evening at this gorgeous boutique style bar. Felt so intimate and cosy. The wines were beautiful and the meat & cheese platter delicious! They even catered for my gluten intolerance. Staff were attentive and friendly. Lovely place to catch up with friends! We’ll be back!

Went with my daughter prior to going back to uni. Beautiful little place, clean and well designed. Great table, we were offered to choose where we wanted to sit as we were first in for lunch. Very relaxing lunch. Good music to accompany. Food was fantastic, exactly what we wanted, good value for two, £35 plus wine. Good service from Diego, he does front of house really well, made to feel welcome and relaxed. Thank you and hope to be back soon x

Would highly recommend, couldn't fault any part of my lunch experience. Food was amazing, wine flight most enjoyable and a great atmosphere- will definitely be back for an evening meal and to sample the cocktails

Wow! What a lovely hidden gem. Beautiful decor, amazing choice of meats and cheeses and wines (sadly I was driving so I didn’t get to sample these, but I’ll be back!) Staff were super friendly. Looking forward to going again.

We booked adhoc after seeing this location on Facebook and glad we did. We have just had an amazing afternoon experience here with wonderful wine and an amazing cheese/meat box with great service. A relaxed environment enjoying lovely wines and cocktails. My wife is Gluten free and the gluten free bread was the best we have had and crackers. Thank you and we will be back.

Lovely new wine bar with a great selection of wines. French Provence Rose was delicious, as was the Australian Moscato. Great option also to buy a 'wine flight' so you can try three smaller glasses for the price of one. My friend and I shared a food box which was great value and the gorgonzola was to die for! Definitely returning soon

What a fantastic wine bar. Set in beautiful, old flour mill with plenty of original character and charm. Perfect for a catch up with friends & family. Plenty of different wines to choose from too, so would appeal to the connoisseurs and non-connoisseurs (like me!)....

I went to 1086 Wine Bar at the weekend with my wife and we were very impressed. The platters of Charcuterie and Cheese were divine and the Passion Fruit Martini was the best I have ever had. My wife had the flight of rose wine which is a really good idea to try several wines without having to buy three glasses. In summary, great place with amazing décor, food and drinks.
