108 Chinese Take Away in Edinburgh, City of

Really disappointed. Ordered quite a few dishes and all were cold, dried out and sickly sweet. 80% went in the bin. Will not be ordering from here again

We treated ourselves to a weekend takeaway. Our order was delivered quickly but unfortunately that was the best part of the meal. The food itself was fairly bland and can unfortunately only be rated as average for this reason.

awful food ordered as a treat as my sons friend is having a sleepover, no one touched any of the 2 chicken dishes, it was the worst food i have recieved in a very long time, please save your money and buy supernoodles instead... what my kids are currently eating!

Had one takeaway from here, and frankly that's one more than we want. Doubt very much if we will order from here again.

Awful experience. Items missing off my order so I rang the driver who said he would sort it out. 40 minutes later..... Nothing and all my food was cold. Tried ringing restaurant several times.... No answer. Contacted driver again and he jist said to contact restuarant, told him there was no answer and he stopped responding to me. Completely ignored by restaurant and couldn't get the items I had paid for. Service is awful and food was ruined, well what I received was. Teying to support a local business backfired and they have lost a future customer.

Noodles completely dry , x3 bits of chicken in dish way too much chilli 🌶, the new owners don’t have a clue on how to make it tasty, won’t be going back Ever

First time calling this takeaway and the lady spoke very rudely, she was screaming down the phone, “WHAT DO YOU WANT” also when I had finished telling her my order she was in a rush to end the call, “OKAY BYEEE” and didn’t even bother asking for my address, so I just cut the call.

We have been coming here for years. Used to be our to go Chinese place but I got ill here around four months ago and decided that it might have been a one off so came to get a takeaway tonight. When we got home and opened our boxes, we realised the chicken was looking really jelly and transparent so we phoned up and told them politely that we suspected the food that we got was uncooked. Their response was nothing but rude. We didn’t get a chance to speak and the person on the phone was rude and kept shouting that the chicken had been cooked twice and should be cooked as it was yesterday’s cooked chicken. She also said that they are not a charity so won’t give a refund if it was more than 10% consumed. Up to this point, I’ve only got a chance to explain that we suspected the chicken might be uncooked and didn’t even ask for a refund or remake, as well as explained that we didn’t eat the food as it appeared to be uncooked but she managed to talk for 10 minutes just to purely shout at me.

Won't be using 108 in future as has gone sadly downhill. Had veg chow mein with no flavour whatsoever and overcooked prawn dumplings. Prawn toast was also not great. Rang to pass on feedback in person but not offered anything apart from a short 'thanks'.

We ordered a range of products and enjoyed every last dish , from the black bean dish to the satay chicken & esp the honey chilli chicken dish! We also had the salted chilli chips & ribs & spring rolls .... all amazing !!! Making me want more just thinking about it all. We will definitely be back to this friendly family run Chinese. Thanks so much Anna & co.

Had crispy Won Ton, overcooked and tasteless. Sauce OK but not very interesting. Ham fried rice, still don't know what the ham was. Sweet and sour pork in batter, but all put into the sauce so soggy, and hardly any vegetables

Chips dry and old,Shredded chicken was in a sauce that wasn't nice,chicken curry ,no taste ,and chow mien was dry and not up to par.

I have been going to this vhinese for guitar a while now so I think it’s time to do a review, one of the best Chinese take-always I’ve ever been too!and would highly recommend their chicken noodle soup 🍜

Lovely little Chinese takeaway we get a munchie box from here regular it's only £12.50 and will stuff 2 people it's tasty as #%^* thanks guys!

Cracking meal too much to eat, one of the best Chinese meals I have had, curry king prawn fried rice and chips struggled to eat

Without a shadow of a doubt the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. I would strongly urge you not to bother eating food from here as you will be very disappointed if you know anything about Chinese food and how it should taste.

Nuestra habitual Chuleteros estaba cerrado, pero un vistazo rápido en la red y el 108 estaba abierta. Pollo curry tres arroz frito tres costillas barbacoa los rollitos de primavera.

Siempre es difícil saber si tomar un riesgo con una comida para llevar cuando estás de vacaciones, pero habíamos oído cosas buenas sobre este lugar, así que cuando teníamos 10 de nosotros, listo para la cena que nos arriesgamos y pedimos desde aquí.

Looked on trip adviser for Chinese takeaway 108 had good reviews, Gave them a call placed an order with them, to find out I couldn't pay by card ! Got the order ,,,, rice dry , chicken fried rice just rice and dried out Chicken , asked for beef curry with mushrooms got beef curry onions and mushrooms really to impressed with this take away :-(

I ve became a regular costumer in this take away as I found quality food, generous portions, very good prices, fast service and always complimentary soft drinks. Perfect for takeaway. Sit in, not an option then, as they don't have tables.

Love the Lar chee they do, nice n hot and so fresh, you always get a free tin of juice and a wee portion of prawn crackers with every order
