Brilliant meat and brilliant service

We popped in here after s morning vidit to the castle and werr delighted with our chooce of venue. The dining area is a little spartan in its decor but that is the only slight criticism. The lunch menu choices of about 7 or 8 items is more than enough. The waitress was attentive, delightful and efficient. The food was absolutely outstanding. We had a beef lasagne, 2 mushroom lasagnes and a hunters chicken wrap, all with a drink. All were good sized portions which were served with chips and salad making the meals great value. They were amazingly tasty. A couple of sticky toffee puddings plus tea and coffee made for a really good and well priced lunch experience.
