A long awaited visit to this restaurant! I’ve been aware of the Peat Inn for many years having been brought up in St.Andrews. At last my husband had the brainwave to treat me to a wonderful lunch on the occasion of my birthday. The ambience of the place and the staff were delightful. From my first sip of Sherry to the final coffee with chocolate treats presented with happy birthday carefully piped onto the plate. I felt I was treated like a princess and enjoyed every taste sensation. I will definitely return, but a treat it must be!
