In the area one day with work, and was in the need for a coffee and something to eat, and looking online for places close by, Prego came up. At first glance nothing more than just a cabin on the platform at Milngavie Train Station, but a truly great place! Plenty of options on their menu, and ordered a morning roll and coffee to go. Prices are excellent, and what I ordered was really tasty. If in area again, will most certainly be back again.

Our daughter's purchased an afternoon tea delivery today for us,and it was excellent, the food was fresh with a mixture of mini pie, wraps ,rolls ,quiche ,side salad and delicious pastries. The food was excellent. It's been a while since I've managed to pay a visit to the resturant ,and with the present lockdown due to coviid 19, I thought it would be even longer but this delivery was a pleasant surprise ,and I will back visiting as with my wife and granddaughter Emma who loves lo cal kitchen as soon as their able to open again after the lockdown .

Everything about this magnificent cafe is astounding - sensational, friendly service; a diverse and delectable menu with a range of tantalising and decadently delicious dishes; expertly brewed coffee and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. My friends and I feel that this marvel deserves all the respect and recognition in the world - it is truly the best possible start to the day! Located directly beneath Dumbarton East Train Station - so perfectly situated too x

Short Long Black is a great place on Victoria Road. Great coffee and an incredible section of cakes and pastries. ( good vegan & gluten free options)

Worth a visit. Nice and spacious shisha lounge. Went at quiet time. Nice relaxing music and friendly service, good prices. Decent drink options as well. Is in an industrial area that is not the most appealing, also toilets could do with a good clean along with general maintenance needs. But worth a visit if passing and if want to relax in a decent environment.

We moved to southside just over a year ago and Toro has been such a find! The loveliest staff, the best coffee and the cakes, pastries and bread are wonderful. A regular Sunday morning haunt for us, just brilliant!

The Slated Teapot catered my daughters first communion. First class service and food. Great guidance on how much to buy and the food was great quality. I will definitely be back for the next family gathering.

We never go anywhere but Diana's for breakfast run, and often lunch too! So welcoming, perfectly cooked food and delicious soups, I recommend to everyone.

Found Fultons by accident while looking for somewhere that wasn't this place, but so glad we decided to go in. This is my second visit in as many months, and once again, it didn't disappoint. From the outside you might walk past it, big mistake, but once you cross the threshold you've landed into a place with great food and a great vibe, so much so almost everyone is a local and regular and to quote from Cheers, everyone knows your name. It's cheeky and sassy Glasgow humour with a huge emphasis on making sure you're welcomed and looked after. Oh, it also does food 😎 the homemade soup is always comforting and just as your Mum or Gran would make. The main courses are wholesome, with the baked potatoes being the best I've ever tasted and the fillings plentiful. You must try the Mexican Chicken with some cajun beans on top, it smacks your mouth with such flavour. The desserts are fabulous, I can vouch for the ginger cake and custard and apple pie and ice cream. The STP is not to try. Finally, the coffee is excellent. Treat yourself to an espresso which comes as twice the volume of normal and delivers a punch. The staff and owners are definitely diamonds of the Glasgow kind.
