Still Smiling a full 12 hours after I finished my lunch. My intention was to buy a Christmas tree and tackle some chores but I was seduced by an extremely interesting menu and the relaxed vibes. All the options were tempting but I opted for soup and a beef roll. Beautifully presented the roasted parsnip and white bean soup tasted as good as it looked. The beef roll had been warmed which was a nice touch and came with pea shoots, sun dried tomatoes and tender roast beef, oh and real butter! In the interest of critiquing the sweet offering I finished with a cinnamon scone and coffee . The scone was really really good and I know a good scone when I taste it! Lots of dogs and cheerful owners I left with my Christmas tree feeling slightly smug about being so lucky to live near this bold and beautiful project . The owners never seem to rest in their laurals - especially Laura! .
