The Old School House

Rostrevor, Newry and Mourne
11/03/2020: Brilliant food and atmosphere. We went for breakfast, my husband had the fry and I have the lentil dish. Both were delicious, we cleaned our plates! We also had one of their fresh scones which was very tasty. Would definitely come back.
24/02/2020: I took my friend here today for lunch. She had the Philli burger and I had the salt’n’chilli chicken. Food was delicious. We will defo be back. Thanks for looking after us so well Shannon.

Carrick Cottage Cafe

Annalong, Newry and Mourne
30/04/2020: This cafe is a cute cottage tucked up in the Mournes with glorious views sweeping down to the sea. I love the view but I also love coming here with the weather is awful and there is no view. It's small, cosy and nearly always has an open fire. One of my favourite spots.
15/03/2020: Had a lovely tea/coffee stop here last week. Friendly staff, lovely coffee and snacks, reasonable prices. Good car park. Lovely fires inside on a cold March day. Very atmospheric! We’ll be back!

Fulla Beans Coffee & Food Bar

Clonallan, Newry and Mourne
21/03/2020: I don't think I could go a weekend without calling in for my breakfast 10/10. Love the food & atmosphere. James and his staff provide a top class service.
16/02/2020: Love going to Fullabeans for their breakfast bap. Always service with a smile . The food is all from the area which keeps it local and cumberland sausages to die for. I keep intending to try other items from the breakfast menu, but always come back to the Breakfast bap as have never had one as tasty anywhere else.

Cafe Nook

Moygashel, Dungannon
16/11/2019: First time eating here this evening with my husband and infant son and the food was amazing! Second to none in fact. Service was a little slow despite the restaurant not being full, and despite being brought a dessert menu, noone came back to take our order after a considerable length of time which was disappointing as we were so looking forward to trying the desserts. Will definitely return however in hope that this evenings service was just a blip, as the food was so impressive! Hats off to the chef!
06/10/2019: Menu is fairly limited if you don’t eat pizza. I ordered king prawn linguine which came on a shallow plate, white prawns, not orange or coloured with butter, spaghetti was bland and sauce was very watery, not seasoned. Complained and was kindly offer a chicken pollo pesto dish, packed into a very small bowl and wasn’t bad. Waiter promised he would remove main course from bill but when went to pay both mains were still on and he was busy sitting on the sofa texting on his phone in plain view?! Dessert was lemoncello tiramisu but was basically cold custard with some biscuit, no taste of lemon at all. Very disappointed as wanted it to be a decent new venue but let down by basically poor food and a waiter who spent more time on his phone than catering to guests. Won’t be back I’m afraid.

Salley's Restaurant

Aughnacloy, Dungannon
08/03/2020: Was disappointed at the quality of the food and value for money. One beef dinner and one gammon dinner, one sweet and one jug of orange was £39.
06/03/2020: We called in for Sunday lunch last Sunday. Got a lovely seat by the window upstairs. The service was great. The food was simply superb and of a high quality. Veg wasn't your standard carrots and peas. We got cauliflower and cabbage. Our two children received two great dinners as well.. We will definitely recommend and return. Thank you.

Zio Restaurant

Annagh, Craigavon
12/03/2020: I went here twice on my visit to Portadown and both meals had excellent flavour. Portions were generous - so you may need to pace yourself. I went there on a Tuesday early evening and the place was packed, which is always good to see. Staff were friendly and attentive. Service was swift. A good restaurant.
15/02/2020: My husband and I visited Zio's for Valentine's day and we were not disappointed! We both had the deep fried brie for starters which was perfect and a good size of portion. I had the gluten free pizza which was incredible with a delicious greek salad. My husband had lasagne and he enjoyed every mouthful. Dessert was heavenly tiramisu with a double espresso. Service was good despite being busy. We really enjoyed our visit and will be back again soon.

Diamonds Restaurant

Daisy hill, Newry and Mourne
21/02/2020: We eat in the Diamonds Restaurant very often. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend it.
16/02/2020: Usually everything is good, but this time a few problems.

Woodville, Craigavon
11/02/2020: Great wee place if you’re grabbing something to eat lots of variety and always have had a lovely meal
10/12/2019: Have just discovered this wee gem recently and have visited on 3 occasions. Always a good crowd eating there and this is not surprising as the quality of the food and the standard of service are excellent. The prices are very reasonable and it seems popular with young families too. I would encourage others to give it a try.

Quinns Corner

Castlecaulfield, Dungannon
04/01/2020: It's been a while since we ate in Quinn's Corner and I don't know why not. We ate there tonight as an early birthday celebration for my son. The staff are lovely, friendly smiles and helpful. The menu is extensive - brilliant to see a wide selection of gluten free dishes was very difficult to make up our minds. Portion sizes are excellent, not too big a starter to deaden the appetite but large enough to be good value for money. One of our party had a pizza and it had loads of toppings and was really enjoyed. The steaks were cooked to perfection and its sometimes difficult to get this. My pan fried chicken was delicious although the bed of champ was actually 2 scoops of creamed mash and I admit I felt a bit cheated but it was absolutely gorgeous. Desserts? Well folks you'll have to try them yourselves. Be warned - you have to leave a bit of room, the choice is wide.
17/10/2019: As part of Kindred Spirits over 50s club I had lunch at Quinn’s Corner yesterday there were 45 people in the group. The food was excellent, the service first class so friendly and efficient. Everyone was delighted with all aspects of the restaurant. We will be returning again to dine at Quinn’s Corner. Flagstaff Lodge Bistro

Silver Bridge, Newry and Mourne
04/03/2020: Amazing service once again, we ordered the spicy chicken wings with a blue cheese sauce for starters, then had chicken stir fry and beef stir fry omg so much on our plates and lots of meat had to leave room for dessert which was pavlova, all the food we ordered was so tasty and presented so well. Thankyou again
07/12/2019: This is a great place to stay. From the moment you arrive until you leave the staff are second to none.

Fivemiletown, Dungannon
09/03/2020: CoffeeHouse95 have a menu with lots of options. They offer light bites such as bagels, pancakes and wraps and burgers, chips, pies etc are also available! It’s my number one spot for meeting a friend for lunch - it’s very reasonable too.
02/03/2020: Called here recently for the first time and definitely will be back. Had the pulled pork burger which was a special and was really good and the wife had the chicken goujon flat bread which was good also. Plenty of choice on the menu and all great value considering the quality of food

Number Seven Duke Street

Clonallan, Newry and Mourne
16/02/2020: Was taken here for my birthday , luckily it was Steak Night, 2 steaks, 2 sides, 2 drinks for £29.95. Steak was cooked to perfection and we shared our sides, so plenty for everyone. Staff are both friendly and attentive. Will be booking again this month.
03/02/2020: Several time during January went for Sunday dinner. The decor is lovely. The staff friendly and efficient. The food excellent and plentiful. Great value!

The Apple Patch

The Birches, Craigavon
18/01/2020: Quick bite of lunch with a friend. Good parking outside, nice decor inside. Friendly staff, welcoming and pleasant. Food was fresh and tasty. Good specials and menu options. Will be back.
09/01/2020: Myself and 3 friends were at the Apple patch today 8th jan for a birthday lunch. We have been here on several occasions and would normally rate as 5*. Unfortunately due to a waitress attitude being atrocious this ruined our lunch. We whereeing shown to a table directly opposite the door which would have been draughty and asked could we sit on opposite side. She literally threw 4 heavy menus at the table said it was for 6 people and stormed off!!!!! I mentioned this to our server said I didnt appreciate the way we had been spoken too but sadly this server didnt want to be involved. No apology . We will not be back.

Maya Cafe

Daisy hill, Newry and Mourne
19/02/2020: Lovely food, amazing coffee, great service and great value. It’s good to see a unique restaurant like this around Newry
11/02/2020: I visited Maya for lunch recently and enjoyed the tastiest chicken salad I’ve had in a long time. I love the vibe of Maya Cafe, and the food always has lots of flavour.
