Afternoon Tea at Newforge House in Craigavon

Just had our second stay at Newforge, which was as as great as the first. Lovely house, staff, grounds and great food from John. We highly recommend.

Beautiful house with wonderful relaxing atmosphere and superb rooms. The food, especially at dinner is outstanding, and all staff are lovely and provide a top class service.

limited menu but every course locally sourced and beautifully cooked. Mainly couples dining but will do a table for four.

We had dinner at Newforge House during our stay there and it was truly delicious. A very tasty appetizer Follower by an excellent fish main course and chocolate cake as Dessert. John has a very good selection of wine, too. Obviously when you stay at Newforge dinner there is a must.

So delighted to have had an opportunity to partake in a weekend of breakfasts and an evening meal here in an amazing place in the North of Ireland. We are so lucky to live within a hairs breath of this Magical Place with amazing produce and amazing chefs like John who are passionate about what they do and how they do it!! Don't waste time..just book it and enjoy!! We are sorry we didn't do something like this a long time ago!!!

John, the owner, and the others who work at Newforge couldn't be nicer nor more helpful. You mentioned something and it miraculously appeared.

The Guild of Agricultural Journalists lunch at Newforge House proved a memorable experience. Excellent food, surroundings and service. This five star guesthouse offers a taste of Georgian country life and a taste of the very best of food from the farms and fields of Northern Ireland. Located in a stunning landscape yet only 15 mins max from the main motorway network no wonder it is so popular with tourists and those visting this part of the UK on business. The ladies serving the food making it feel as though we were guests in a family home.

I had afternoon tea in a group of 4 and we had a wonderful time. Everything on our tea tray was beautiful. The surroundings really made this experience fantastic. I highly recommend and cannot wait to come back.

our neighbours who are frequent diners at this restaurant gave us a voucher for christmas. we decided to use it last weekend as we had nothing better to do and were very pleasantly suprised!! The restaurant is set in a beautiful Georgian house in its own grounds- it would be a superb setting for a small wedding. We were greeted by friendly staff who led us into the comfortable lounge until our meal was ready. the standard of the food was excellent and made with local produce, the service was great, not too polished or pretentious. we would go back anytime for dinner.

Had a fantastic Afternoon Tea at Newforge House today. We were greeted by a lovely lady who was very helpful and friendly. We has a very refreshing glass of wine followed by great tasting tea, divine food and excellent service. A real treat and perfect day out..............
