The best restaurants serving Mexican food in Ancoats and Clayton Manchester North West

I've visited Picos a few times, and the food has always been excellent. However, during my last visit, my friend, who has some allergies, asked the staff for more information about the menu. Unfortunately, the three employees working at the time were extremely rude and intimidating. She clarified that her concern was about consuming nuts, not cross-contamination, but they kept repeating their cross-contamination policy in a rude manner. Despite her efforts to explain, they continued to be unhelpful, while the other two staff members just stood by without offering any assistance. Navigating food allergies is already challenging for her, and the lack of support or kindness made the experience even worse. It's disappointing because I love the food, but I won’t be returning until the staff's attitude toward allergies improves.

Nicola N was amazing! She was the perfect waitress. Nicola N was kind, helpful, attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and the service she gave us was superb.
