The best restaurants serving Mexican food in North Hertfordshire East of England

Awful food, poor service, should of got a takeaway instead.

It used to be THE spot in Hitchin to grab some tacos and margaritas. Now it has a takeaway only feel with some techy kiosks. And we can't seem to find the tacos anymore... Whilst there, another couple came in, saw there was no tacos and left, so not sure if going this way was a wise financial decision either? Used to be the favourite restaurant in Hitchin, now to mourn for the loss. Hopefully it will return one day to its glory, and I can update this back to 5 stars.

It was amazing the food was fresh and nice and hot! Staff seemed nice atmosphere could be better but its not in an actual El Mexicana restraunt so dont blame them!

We came in for lunch recently and sat outside. The food itself was great but what let our experience down was the customer service. We had two servers and one was very attentive and friendly but the other was abrupt and unwelcoming. We felt rushed to order and also rushed to leave as they were quick to clear our table and lingered with a cloth and spray until we left. A shame considering the food was lovely, a menu we would be happy to go back and try other food and drink items with the garden having massive potential in warm summer evenings. However, the standard of customer service would make us reconsider.
