The best restaurants serving Italian food in Rossendale North West

My family and I went to celebrate my brother in law's birthday. It was quite a large table, but the service was amazing, the staff were friendly and accommodating (most the table had reordered but as it was a suprise, one couldn't). The food was spectacular, everything was tasty and cooked to perfection.

Awful from start to finish. Young girl waitress jumper covering hands and pink crocs on. All drinks from bottles and cans! Poor olives. Waited far too long for god awful dishes. Seafood risotto was chewy and inedible. Cannelloni meat tasted like dog meat. I'm going to guess frozen, reheated in the microwave which we saw, then in oven to make like lava. Mondello should not call himself a chef serving the nonsense we just saw. I hope people read this and stick to an actual Italian.

Although it is rumoured to be closed for redecoration many locals believe it will not re-open as planned. This is a shame as they served consistently good food.

Great place always consistent great staff always a nice atmosphere

Friendly greeting, the service and food was second to none! I had the caprese salad to start and hubby had king prawns. For main I had fettuccine Alfredo hubby had linguine Al Granchio For the dessert I had strawberries, gelato and cream and hubby had profiteroles, all absolutely delicious. This is the best meal and service we’ve had out in ages. Thanks so much! We will return.

We initially come into the establishment to utilise the facilities of the driving range however when we arrived they informed us that there were no balls that we could use which showed their lack of facilities and disorganisation. I found the customer service skills of the bar staff very poor when ordering drinks and food as they didn’t have a friendly face and had a very bad attitude. They were very ignorant and instead of helping the poor chef who clearly had his hands full when preparing food for the busy pace the bar staff was too busy making conversation with each other rather than helping him out serving food which I thought was really inconsiderate. I thought the choice of attire for the employees was rather inappropriate and made us feel very uncomfortable as they were wearing clothing too tight. There was no toilet roll in the ladies toilets which has happened twice now since I’ve been which just shows the employees lack of attentiveness. We also had to wait an extreme length of time for a simple portion of chips which had been left on the side for 5 minutes without us being notified until we finally decided to go and collect it for ourselves. Overall coming from someone who works in hospitality themselves as a bartender, the service was extremely poor on this occasion and I think management should seriously consider taking on this feedback since I think a lot of people will feel the same way as I do. However it is a shame because it used to be a very nice and friendly place to play golf and have drinks where we all felt comfortable.
