The best restaurants serving Italian food in The Lane Southwark London

Came with my family today, service was absolutely amazing and food was really good, our host lost on was very attentive and it’s definitely somewhere where I’ll return

Grandes ingredientes, haciendo buena comida en un gran ambiente. Pequeño y personal, es como si tuvieras un chef invitado preparando la cena en tu propia cocina. Tu comida se prepara frente a tus propios ojos, puedes ver y luego probar cada ingrediente individual en tu comida. De la estufa a la mesa en 10-15 segundos como máximo. Excelentes opciones de vino para su principal.

Great pizza, friendly staff. We had a reservation for 10, the service was smooth, food came quickly and everyone was served at the same time. The pizzas were tasty and perfectly cooked. The staff entertained us with jokes and laughter! Highly recommended!!

Great vibe with delicious small plates (that aren’t that small). Highly recommend the fried cauliflower, Burrata, and the sea bass. Delicious cocktails, great wine. Attentive and friendly service. Great views of London too!

Would agree with the other reviews. We visited today and the service needs improvement, they forgot one of our pizzas when we ordered and we had all finished by the time they bought it. They seem to prioritise deliveries over the customers in the restaurant and then add a big service charge onto the bill. We asked for it to be removed. Service is not really attentive and you have to ask multiple times for the same thing eg drinks.

Appalling attitude and service from owner. Upon entry no greeting just a miserable old woman with a face like a pitbull chewing a wasp, pointed To the board and said the flavours are on there. When asked to taste a sample of the Vanilla for the kids (Which wasn’t on the board!) The old lady behind the counter with a disgusting attitude said “Vanilla is Vanilla!” Well if that’s the case why an earth would I pay nearly £4 for a fussy child to have a tiny scoop of your “Just Vanilla” if it tastes just like everywhere else! Walked out without buying, absolute ignorance and rudeness was bewildering from a shop clearly struggling as it is empty on most occasions i travel past.

Lovely place, really delicious food - feels special without being too pricey. The back room is great for parties. Highly recommend

Food was amazing. Ordered the Yam & Beef croquettes which were huge and melted in your mouth. Friend had the Jerk wings and loved them so much they wouldn’t share. Also Curry Goat Roti - huge amount and flaky roti with salad on the side. Staff so friendly and kind. Love this place!!
