Lovely, relaxing place to have a drink while waiting on our delayed flight. Livingstone was serving us and was absolutely great; very professional while friendly and welcoming at the same time. We’ll definitely return again

Excellent service from every single member of the team and great food too. We never normally experience this at Stansted airport so I really welcome surprise . We had pasta, Lasagne and tiramisu, all good.

Well, we were seated quickly, which was the last quick thing that happened here. I don't like to be rushed over dinner, but that's not a problem here, wait 30mins to order, 30 mins for nibbles - 30 minutes for mains. then just -- abandoned - couldn't even get any mustard for the tasteless steak. 30 mins after finishing our meals with no sign of any staff coming near us (although there were a few cleaning tables elsewhere - obviously actual customers not a priority) we just decided to leave. We went and sat in the bar, eventually someone came over asking if we'd like to pay, I have premium membership and so entitled to 10% off food and drink - apparently the general manager has decided that this does not apply to drinks, despite there being posters in all the lifts saying "10% discount of food and beverages" for members. I wasn't going to have that argument, so left it alone. I did comment to the waitress that I felt the quality of the food for price was "average at best" she commented back along the lines that it was an airport hotel what would you expect? I would expect better, and certainly better service when they are selling you a £10 bottle of wine available from Tesco for £42... The menu formatting also looks like it was done by a 10 year old. Wine list is particularly bad.
