Had a very tasty rare sirloin with excellent Chilean Merlot (no French wine available) and good cheese to follow. Staff tried hard to please and food was prompt enough for me and piping hot. I overheard everyone around me also saying how good it was so don't let the bad reviews put you off.

Amazing restaurant , best around area, always busy but service is fast and professional. Chef Lewis Dell'ovo greated us and recommended some dishes, and starters, great choices all of them. I used breakfast every stay and use very high quality products and huge variety of choices, from Asian to Mediterranean cuisine. Highly recommended restaurant plus breakfast.

This used to be a really good restaurant a couple of years ago. However, it has really gone downhill now. Service was very slow. Waited 30 mins for the calamari starter, which was cold when it arrived. Waited 40 mins for the main course, which, although freshly cooked, was served on a cold plate. The sirloin steak on the bone was gristly in places. The meat without the gristle was quite tasty. Chips were cold. At over £30 for the steak meal, we expected better. We wanted to send it all back but didn't want to wait another 40 minutes. I know the restaurant was busy but if you can't deal with the number of customers you shouldn't take in so many. Once I would have recommended this restaurant but not now. If we stayed at the Radisson again I would rather go to the airport and get a takeaway.

Despite the name Collage is a real restaurant in Radisson Blu at Stansted airport Completely taken aback at so many neg reviews as I really enjoyed experience! Friendly staff asked about my health needs & provided gluten free alternatives Also got Radisson discount on lovely curry and dessert! Disregard the horrible reviews and go there with an open mind. My tuna steak was excellent and reasonably priced. The dessert was one of the best I ever had. I was looked after by Sebin, who was very attentive and kept me informed on the waiting time. My beer came first and the main within 10 minutes. The experience was extremely positive and would recommend to all.

The service was hopeless. It took 30 minutes for drinks to arrive and 40 for food. Since the food had surely only been thrown in a microwave, this is baffling. we ordered a glass of wine and were given a bottle after the 30 minutes wait. we nearly had to beg for water. and then one glass came so we begged again for two more glasses. The food? Small portions, off the back of a catering van, expensive and dull. It seems strange that such a bad business can exist in this day and age

Stayed at the Raddison Blu one night prior to flight next morning. Looked at the reviews on Trip advisor for the restaurant and nearly decided against eating there. However there’s not much in the way of choice around the area so gave it the benefit of the doubt. Glad we did. The food was really nice. The service exemplary and the staff very pleasant and attentive. I would certainly dine in there again given the opportunity. Yes the price was a little above average but it’s a good standard of hotel on the airport campus attached to the terminal. It’s always going to be a bit above your average pub prices. I’m really surprised at some of the poor reviews based on our experience. I’d happily eat there again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

Although the food was ok, starter Mackeral was very good. Main course. Ordered Pork Chop with Anna Potatoes and tenderstem Broccoli. Anna Potatoes were Dauphonoise potatoes? Tenderstem Broccoli was Raw, I can accept aldenty but this was raw. I ordered cheese and biscuits, which is costed at £15. So I would expect a decent amount. 5 grapes, a tea spoon of Chutney, 1 slither of 3 cheeses, and 4 biscuits. I have been served more on a mitcheln restaurant at this price. In summary I understand this is an airport hotel restaurant and prices are going to be more expensive,but this restaurant is overpriced for the food and service.

We were staying as a family at the hotel so thought we would grab some food from the restaurant. I have a dairy allergy and this was made known to the restaurant team and so I ordered the vegan pasta meal. They brought it out after waiting some time with parmesan cheese on top. We explained I had the dairy allergy again and your meal is stated as vegan so should not have any cheese on top unless vegan cheese which they said it was not. I explained I would need a whole new dish making and not just the cheese scraping off. The dish again come after some time and within 5 minutes of eating this I became violently ill as it was clear that the dish contained dairy. The restaurant was not very apologetic and could kill someone if they have a severe allergy. It ended up ruining my entire holiday as I end up being ill for some time after a flare up. The restaurant could not explain what had happened and have said they would contact the next day and over a week later and we have not heard anything. The customer service manager took a statement off my partner but that was it. Disgusting

First of all, the menu we were given did not in any way resemble the menu on the hotel’s website. Our menu was small in terms of choices and very expensive for what we were served. The staff never interacted with us. Our waiter took our order, served our meal and brought the bill … and that was it. He never smiled. The food was not bad, but I think £20 for a hamburger and a small portion of chips is outrageous, even in an airport hotel restaurant. Again, the burger wasn’t bad, but I have had much better at far lower prices. My wife liked her tuna, but there were only four bites’ worth.

We were more than satisfied. The server was very friendly and nice. We did think it was a bit expensive for what it was, but then it is in a hotel. We went here as nowhere else to eat. Staying overnight at Raddison. Never again, appalling. I too would give them a 0 if possible. I am gluten free, none of the main meals stated GF or not. Asked and one choice of pork chop, brocoli mustard jus for £18.50 I didn't have ,it and glad I didn't. It was minimal dry chop and 2 hits brocoli disgusting, I saw a lady next to us who had it. I had to have the non GF fish and chips and not eat the batter that was £19.50! Reviews are all true. Not even got a New Zealand saving non blanc which was listed. Avoid eating here they rip you off.

I arrived at 8.15 on a weekday evening. The hotel appeared to be quiet and there were perhaps a quarter of the tables in the restaurant occupied. It took about 25 minutes before I could even order a drink even after asking passing staff twice. I ordered the spicy bean burger which took 50 minutes to appear, I wish it hadn't because it was breaded 'mush' deep fried and still dripping with grease. The maitre d' allowed me to send it back and I ordered the Rosemary and Garlic Roast Chicken, which came in about 10 minutes. It was two chicken quarters deep friend to a pale yellow colour and served with a clove of garlic and a sprig of rosemary strategically placed on the chicken to allude from the fact it was probably outsourced to the local chip shop. The fries were also originally frozen and flash fried, no other greenery or garnish or side salad on the plate except for a splurge of chipotle mayo, sorry coloured mayo. I honestly have not had a worse meal in a long time. Thankfully, the stores in the nearby Stansted airport were still open so I could have a sandwich, which after the adventure at Collage even a refrigerated packed sandwich was simply devine!

The latest addition of Radisson restaurant is yet another disaster Truly wished they went back to the nice Italian from a few years ago.this said....Collage..... as the title says how can you make such a disgusting Ceasar salad?or manage to serve cold and uncooked fries? Even if you went to shop elsewhere and buy one this place could do a markup with the ridiculous prices they have. Sadly my travelling companion had little to say about their own choice of food.I am amazedat how bad this place is

While passing through Stansted we stayed at the Radisson Blu for a night and ate at the Collage restaurant. We had soup, pasta, chicken Kiev with mashed potatoes and vegetables and cheesecake. The soup was ok. The pasta was simply awful ; beyond overcooked. Simply not edible. The chicken was edible but the vegetables were frozen ones, tasteless. The cheesecake was ok only they drowned it in fruit jam. My little one had pizza. The tomatoes were not fresh. Overall an awful dinner. The worst we've had while in London.

Decided to give this a try after reading negative reviews of balzar, wish we had given that a try now or even gone to burger king or got a meal deal at m and s! Starter was okay but not a lot you can do wrong with hummus, fetta, olives, pitta bread etc.Hardly finished the last mouth full when our main course was presented on the table probably freshly out of the microwave! We had ordered paella, arrived swimming in tasteless liquid, with chewy sea food and rice was not even paella rice. If we stay here again we will certainly head to the airport terminal to eat.

I'm pretty sure the menu at Filini used to be much more diverse and I recall they also had a pizza oven....unfortunately now the menu is much much smaller and hideously overpriced.I do understand that airport hotels tend to overcharge but this is ridiculous. The old menu was far more reasonable.The starters were quite decent. My beef carpaccio was lovely and two of our party raved about the Greek sharing platter. Unfortunately it was downhill from there. The paella was bland and my chicken was just average but the potatoes massively under seasoned. In fact everything needed salt. All in all a very average and expensive meal. It would put me off staying again as was always a great part of the pre flight experience. I'll head into the terminal for an M&S buttie!

As part of my stay at the Radisson hotel i had a voucher for breakfast . The food was plentiful and of good quality with great variety . It is not to be missed . If you have not include breakfast with your reservation then you could ask for a voucher from reception. It will knock off 5 GBP from your bill . One reason fro staying there it has to be the breakfast .

Choice of two restaurants, steak house and Italian. Filini as you'd guess is the Italian. Friendly greeting. Attentive friendly and very rapid but not pushy service. Waiter prepared to chat about the food. Excellent Shiraz and Sauvignon Blanc. Good meaty king prawn and chilli on rocket starters. Very good Paella main. Generous amounts. Pleasing presentation to the eye and just spicy enough to please. Good choice of deserts. (Sorry I don't have a sweet tooth so I rarely comment as puds rarely wow me) Breakfast has a generous and eclectic range catering for all tastes. The fried eggs where somewhat bland but I usually eat my own chicken's free-range eggs so it's an unfair comparison and bacon very tasty (I always go for the full English when eating out as I hardly ever at home so it's a guilty treat- it's a sort of yardstick for me when rating catering as it's often just thrown together in a mass produced "that'll do" sort of way. If an establishment takes care over its full english it generally cares about all it produces)All in all a very positive experience. Room was most adequate too. No complaints at all. It's not the Connaught but I would gladly stay and eat here again. Not a single surly face at any stage. I was impressed by my observation of how the staff treated everyone else too so I'm not just a once off. I got the impression they actually cared!

This was our 3rd visit. First time about 3 years this was a really good Italian. Last time it was OK, this time it was overpriced and below average. This is not the staff's fault! First course was untoasted bruschetta and the main piri piri chicken on a lukewarm bed of crushed potato. OK but the cheapest wine on offer was £29!!! Judging by the other poor reviews of this place the management just don't care and feel they have a monopoly because it is an airport venue. Bring your own sandwiches is my advice.

I was quite worried after looking at the reviews here and as the NYGB was fully booked thought I would give this a go. The service was super friendly and although a small menu, it met all my needs. Garlic and Chilli king prawns to start followed by a lovely hake dish, quite unusual with tarragon and beans but very nice. I then had a little room left for dessert which was a lovely hot apple tarte tatin with amaretto. This was the highlight and worth waiting for.

My wife has a bad food allergy and before ordering we made this very clear to the staff and they checked with the kitchen staff who confirmed what she can eat (twice). Food came out and after a couple of mouthfuls she said that it did not taste right so asked them to double check and then they came out saying that she could not eat the food - really not impressed. Afterwards e-mailed the manager of the restaurant and heard nothing back from him - would recommend avoiding

An appealing menu to entice you in.. in reality - very overpriced, really bad quality food.Fish and chips and mushy peas (£16) - dry fish, dry mushy peas, over cooked chips. Supermarket cafe's make a better job of this. Pie - only half filled (£15) - sides are extra.It's a rip off - avoid.I've gone back three weeks with the reviews for this place in the radisson blu hotel reviews, and can see there have been many empty promises given, regarding this restaurant in response to all the complaints about it -so obviously nothing is being done, and replies are merely lip service.I rated this 2 as the waiting staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful and was happy to pay the service charge as like undertakers - they are only doing their job after all.

Waited so long for our starters to arrive- that people around us get all there meals before us even tho we ordered first but we get served last. The waitress kept looking over and finally came over and said they had forgotten us. Which we waited another 10mins, the food was lovely when it finally arrived, then once our meal came out they had got our order so wrong they had forgotten my husband meal and 1 side which they took away and then came back and made us re-order again as they took the order down wrong... which again had to wait another 15 minutes for them to cook it... they brought the food out which again was lovely but wasn't offered a knife so sat there for 5 minutes then my husband went up to the counter and ask for a knife. We couldn't believe it, how did they mess up so much. The waitress was apologetic. But When it came to pay all they said is we will take the service charge off your bill... are you kidding me - dam right you will take the service charge off our bill (being as you messed up) it ruined our anniversary meal. I will not recommend this restaurant at all...

Waited so long for our food which came in no particular order that we gave up on dessert. When I went to pay I asked if there was a reason that the service was so bad and was told no. Our waitress did say when we had asked for the third time for one of the starters that she was not allowed to go into the kitchen. There appears to be a problem here which management are doing nothing to resolve.

After the fiasco of an evening tonight the poor reviews seem too generous.We arrived at the booking time and waited as they cleared the table in a near empty restaurant.We ordered and started talking. It was about 45 minutes before we began to wonder where the food was.A starter of brioche was served, cold. We asked for them to do it again.One main course remained under a heat lamp for 25 minutes while we waited.The second cold serving of brioche arrived, like a cold cheese on toast.As waiters floundered I went to service and served our waiting calzoni myself while I continued to wait.We asked several times about service. The supervisor, Veronika, ignored the restaurant and spent her time at the till with her back to everything.When everyone had finished my spaghetti was served. It was cold and looked worse than a student spaghetti with pesto. I ate it out of hunger, not pleasure.If the Filini read these reviews I'd like them to know they're literally worse than McDonald's. They need raise all of their standards. Speed, organisation, service, quality; all awful.

I'm not a fan of hotel restaurants but there were a couple of dishes I liked on the menu shown on their Internet site. However, when I got the paper menu, it was completely different. The first course, tomato and mozzarella salad, was good enough, but I suppose it's hard to do it badly. The main course, breaded pork chop with goat's cheese, was tasty but the meat was overcooked and tough; the side order of new potatoes was far too greasy. The dessert, pannetone bread and butter pudding, had been microwaved to death; the first mouthful burnt my taste buds into submission and the base was black, leathery and inedible. The Rioja wine was fine and so was the service, but £52 for such a poor meal is just absurd.

We stayed at the Raddison blu 21st May and despite the mixed reviews, as we were staying at the hotel we decided to give it a go. I really wish we hadn't, the baked mushrooms to start although nice didn't really taste of anything, it was quite a bland dish. The calamari wasn't bad however. The main dishes were not great at all, my courgette pasta was really overcooked, really watery and under seasoned (& I don't salt my food so that's saying something), I would go as far to say that it was possibly the worst pasta dish I've tasted for over 10 years, service was fine although I did knock over and smash a glass and no one came over, we cleaned it ourselves with napkins and tissues. The kids menu and food was great (although in fairness I didnt try the childs pasta) it came with adult size side dishes and ice cream. Simple touches like a spoon with pasta dishes, offering black pepper and parmesan is just another option to improve things. Such a shame as the hotel is lovely and the restaurant is nice, light and airy. However we won't be returning.

We opted for the 3 course option with a glass of wine for £25.We chose the focini bread with quail egg for starters, unfortunately no quails eggs. Then I had lasagne and my husband had the calzone. For dessert I had warm chocolate cake with raspberries and hubby had panne tone bread and butter pudding. The whole meal was satisfying tasty and well cooked.A couple of grumbles the room information said that a fixed menu was available in both restuarants, but apparantly has only been available in Filinis for the last 2 months. We got the impression that had we been paying full menu prices quail eggs would have been available.

I had a room rate that included dinner, but from the beginning only one member of staff seemed to understand how this worked, even after I handed over my voucher.My chosen starter came quite quickly, but the glass of wine I had ordered did not. I had finished my starter by the time it came (on second asking).Then my main course, which was just a pasta, took over 30 minutes to arrive. OK I asked for gluten free pasta, but I have never experienced such a delay before. I had nearly finished it when the waitress came and asked if would like some parmesan on it!When it was time to leave, the waitress brought me a bill to sign for the fixed price 3-course dinner. I questioned this but she insisted. So I got up and found the Manager who confirmed that I did not have to sign.This restaurant is the breakfast venue for the Hotel. Its fine for breakfast, but I would not recommend it for dinner.

Dies ist eines der Restaurants im Hotel Radisson Blu Stansted Airport.Hier wird auch das Frühstück des Hotels serviert.Am Abend ist es ein nettes italienisches Restaurant. Leider mit eher kleineren Portionen, dafür dann jedoch auch sehr teurer. Service geht in Ordnung, ist jedoch nicht überfreundlich.Qualität der Speisen geht in Ordnung.

Just visited the restaurant as the other one available in the hotel didn't have any tables. Chose our meals and drinks...and waited....and waited. Drinks arrived....and we waited....Eventually a side order of fries arrived, but no mains...we waited...and waited. Other diners were in the same predicament, but no apologies offered. By the time the main meals came the fries were cold and medium steak was rare. On finishing our food we ordered 2 drinks (guess what-had to wait!) and asked for the bill. By the time we had finished our drinks, we were still waiting for our table to be cleared and bill to arrive. After what seemed like an age we had to go to the front desk to get it and ask for the plates to be removed. As a 'gesture' the automatic 10% service gratuity was not added....there was no way they were getting it anyway!! Food mediocre at best, service dire. Not the best start to our holiday....but it can only get better from here!!

Eaten here each time ive stayed at the hotel. The most recent being January. To start with, the menu available was not the full menu as displayed on the website. Disappointment No1.Ordered mains with 2 sides. Sides were cold/luke warm. No mid meal customer service so couldn't mention this until the end. Disappointment No2.To be fair, when feedback was given the waitress took the price of the sides off the bill. That wasn't the point. Hot food was the point!Back again at the end of this month so it had better be better!

Filini is an Italian restaurant in the Raiisson Blu Hotel London Stansted airport, an average place, with high UK prices for average and below average italian food, staff does not know to cook it and prepare it properly or they just to it in a rush. It would be worth sending the cook back to Italy to learn a thing or two about italian food.

Trovandomi da solo nel Radisson Blu di Stansted, ho voluto provare il ristorante interno per praticita' e comodita'. Peccato, rispetto all'albergo il ristorante e' veramente scarso. Il personale ci mette anche buona volonta' ma le pietanze sono proprio scarse in qualita'. La pizza e' nella media.

Popped in for a quick pizza before bedtimeService was lacklustre , we felt we were intruding followed by a bottle of vinegar ( red wine)The pizzas came very quickly, so quickly they could not have been cooked properly and guess what !! They weren't Soggy bottoms, impossible to cut and tastelessSo dissapointing as the bill came to £100plusThe bread arrived on a plate covered in cheap balsamic vinegar I wouldn't return

Filini reminded me of a school or a works canteen and that didn't diminish over the course of our meal. It was noisy, soul less and served some of the most uninspiring mediocre pseudo Italian food I have had the misfortune to taste. Chewy calamari, average pasta and an ossobucco that would suggest the chef had hidden his seasoning and couldn't find it again. Good pint of Guinness though. Too expensive for the rubbish served up!

Had dinner here on an over night stay. Ordered crab pasta and a kids mini burger kids meal. Waitress came back to tell me the kids menu was not in use yet and the kitchen staff could not cook the kids burger. I was given a photocopied version of an old kids menu. On a positive note the waitress was lovely and said straight away that the kids meal would be free. The food took a while to arrive. The pasta was over cooked and wetter than a drenched sponge. The crab was not that great either. I expressed my disappointment but, being so hungry, at this time of the evening I declined having to wait for the meal to be cooked again. I was offered a discount on the meal and excepted that option.

Stayed at the Radisson Blu due to an early morning flight, decided to eat in Filini, really wish we'd chosen the other restaurant. The waitress took our order after a fairly long wait. She then brought us a bottle of white Pino Grigio when we ordered the blush, after a fairly long wait our main course turned up served by the restaurant manager, however we hadn't received our starters the manager said it was coming, I told him not to bother. He asked if we would like more drinks & my husband ordered another beer, the waitress delivered this a few minutes later along with an additional beer, we told her we only required 1. I called the concierge and told him of the errors, he said did the manager say the beer was on the house (why would I also want a pint of beer when I had a bottle of wine?) but he hadn't even mentioned it was on the house. I must admit the sirloin steak was very good though, we asked for the bill and lo & behold they tried to charge us for the white wine they'd bought in error . Definitely wouldn't go back, overpriced & untrained staff

I visited this restaurant with my husband and 17 month old daughter as we were staying at the radisson hotel prior to our holiday. I think it is putting it mildly to say we were very disappointed with the food here. It's hard to make a pizza bad but it was! It was so dry with barely any topping and about a 3 inch rim around the edge with no topping at all. They forgot about the chicken and vegetables we had ordered for our daughter and when they eventually came the veg was microwaved within an inch of it's life making it all withered and the chicken was slimy. For the privilege we paid approx £70 for one portion of garlic bread, a pizza, chicken and veg and a calzone with inedible sour sausage filling. After reading many poor reviews about this and other restaurants in the radisson at stansted we resorted to having a take out of lovely food and drink from the M&S in the arrivals on our return journey!

On first impressions it looks a nice place to eat so we gave it a go. Dinning with a child we have very simple requirements, serve us good simple food quickly with attentive service. I don't think Filini managed to fulfil any of these. Many people seated after us were allowed to order before us, and then a couple of tables ordering after us were served similar dishes before us. To make things worse the lamb I ordered turned up as chicken! There was little in the way of an apology.The pasta seemed as if it had been cooked in the afternoon and reheated, thus was like rubber. The sauce was very uninspiring. The lamb was cooked to oblivion and the aubergine accompaniment was unrecognisable. They have a captive audience at this Radisson Blu restaurant and you can tell, there is obviously no need to strive to provide good food or service.

Ho mangiato bene in questo ristorante italiano che è situato nell' hotel dove ho pernottato la sera prima della partenza. Abbiamo prenotato il tavolo in serata, l' attesa per essere serviti è stata breve, i camerieri erano gentili. Il cibo era buono, ho mangiato un piatto di pesce ottimo anche se un po' scarso nelle quantità.Per essere un ristorante in hotel è stata una esperienza più che buona.

Come al solito nei ristoranti degli hotel il mangiare lascia molto a desiderare.L'ossobuco con la polenta era fantasioso della polenta solo il colore giallo.Ho chiesto delle patate fritte e mi sono state portate con sopra il (forse) parmigiano, ma cosa centrava il parmigiano?? I prezzi sono molto alti mi raccomando di non bere acqua minerale perchè costa " solo" a 4,75 sterline a litro.I camerieri italiani mi hanno un po' risollevato il morale è sono stati genilissimi è professionali

Hey viewers. I felt compelled to write this to hopefully make you think twice before visiting this restaurant. When we visited on a Sunday, there were two young female waitresses who seemed to be a combination of overly shy and perhaps hungover. They barely said a word, didn't take our order and we had to ask, and got simple things wrong. Other first impressions: dirty glasses served, and one person on the pizza oven? I had clumsily managed to spill a drink, and after I returned from the bathroom, which was absolutely vile - completely disgusting and looking as if it had not been cleaned in a month. It was honestly foul... the kitchen roll my wife had to use to clean the spillage was still left on the table, and the drink was not replaced until we asked. These are simple things one would expect when paying to dine at a restaurant. Instead the staff had stood there and watched my wife clean up. 20+ minutes in with no food, and after seeing some of the pizzas being served at other tables, we decided to leave. The pizzas looked bland, undercooked, and generally terribly presented. The couple at the table next to us also mentioned that their food was chewy and dry, and it looked significantly worse than what you would get at a kebab shop at 3 AM, despite the expensive prices (around £16+ for some pizzas on the menu). After leaving, another lady who had apparently eaten there approached us and said how bad the food was and how disgusting the female bathroom was, which pushed me to write this review. I am baffled by the good reviews from others. Perhaps they have more experience with takeaways/deliveries where service is not a factor, or it may just depend on who's in the kitchen. To close, as a family who eats out regularly in many different locations, I would consider this restaurant to be in the top 3 of the worst establishments we've visited. Good luck if you're going, and squint if you use the toilets."

We go here every time we visit the area! The food (Bacon rolls / breakfasts) and coffees (Latte / Americano) are great and the ladies working there are very friendly. Highly recommended!

Really disappointed, we ordered 4 pizzas online and they were listed as 2 for £25, when we paid we were charged £56. The pizza was late and not very nice, plastic cheese, did ring up and left a message for a call back to explain why we were overcharged but no response. Would not return

Lovely, relaxing place to have a drink while waiting on our delayed flight. Livingstone was serving us and was absolutely great; very professional while friendly and welcoming at the same time. We’ll definitely return again
