Lady at the till on Thursday morning was super rude. No welcoming at all, no thank you, I made a question about a product and the answer she gave was so much to make me feel like a fool that in the end I didn’t get what I wanted. I get it, you have stress, depressed, no smiling costumers at all, who work in the area and are tired to give you a smile for their daily routine or whatever, but you shouldn’t apply that manners to all your other costumers...

Excellent food, only let down was other customers or would have been a 5. We arrived for our wedding anniversary and although the restaurant was mainly empty, we were sat next to a very loud table of 8 and another couple. The noise from one particular person was so constant and obnoxious with language, we ate as quickly as possible just so we could leave because we couldn’t actually hear each other or the staff when taking our order. Sadly the other couple who were by us also felt the same. Shame really as we came for the dessert but the language and shrieking from the one customer ruined the evening for us. As we were leaving, the group was then placed in the centre of the restaurant probably to ruin everyone else’s meal too. The food though was outstanding and I can highly recommend it and the staff too who tried to put up with what was happening. The table by us had the desserts we wanted and it looked perfect but the noise was too much.

We visited our son in Putney and he suggested we try Artisans for lunch. The 2 course lunch menu of starter and pasta or starter and main was a very reasonable £29 each when we sampled it. Our son runs a local pub and he had been recommended by past diners to go here. On arrival we were the only people there but we did arrive at 12:30 so maybe a little early. We had to catch the tube across London for a show hence the early visit. The host Massimo was very welcoming. Most tables were set up for two people but he quickly had the three of us sat down. He brought water to the table and was happy to talk with us. He gave us menus and retired to the kitchen while we decided. My wife and I opted for the Sardinian Ham with Pear and saffron jam to start, while our son chose the daily Burrata with Grappolino emulsion and oregano. both dishes were very well cooked and prepared and most enjoyable. My wife and son then chose the Sos Malloreddus pasta with deer ragu with plum tomatoes and herbs, while i went for the Venison fillet with Spinach tart, wild berries syrup & chestnuts praline. The fillet was so tender the knife could have been a butter knife. I could have eaten it slightly rarer but the taste and texture was heaven. Massimo suggested a white wine for my wife and a red for myself. Our son was due back at work so opted for no alchohol. The wines accompanied the dishes perfectly but I cant remember which ones they were. We followed with coffees to finish the lunch by which time a party of six had already sat down and more were diners were coming in. Overall, as diners of quite a few Michelin restaurants we can safely say that the quality of food and service we experienced at Artisans was certainly very high end quality. I cannot understand some of the negative reviews left by others but i would certainly recommend others to visit Artisans. We intend to go back and have the 4 course tasting menu on the evening next time we visit our son. Thank you to Massimo and his staff.

We had the best service me and my sister after a long day at work. We had the best pizzas. Steve, Mat and James were so lovely, welcoming and professional. Missed the Monday offers however, it was worth paying the full prices. Always looking forward to office day and the pizza treat.

We enjoyed our first visit to La Tavola. A bit tucked away but plenty of parking and great food served by lovely staff Bruschetta and olives followed by seafood risotto and chicken with a mushroom & white wine sauce; lastly a crème brûlée to finish. Presentation was really outstanding, especially the risotto. Drinks are a tiny bit expensive but in line with typical restaurant prices. The room was a bit warm and I didn’t see any aircon but luckily we were seated by a window - worth thinking about in summer months. In summary, a really good family run restaurant which is well worth a visit. NB: approached via outside steps - I’m unsure if there is any disabled access.

I will begin this review by saying that my husband and I had come to Hungerford for lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had visited our usual establishment (NOT Mio Fiore!) and were sadly let down by the quality of the food and had walked out without eating anything! Suffice to say we were not very happy and felt our day had been spoiled. Looking for another venue for our lunch, we walked past Mio Fiore and took a chance! So onto the review! Service! We were given the warmest welcome ever by a (very beautiful) waitress who was absolutely charming! Nothing was too much trouble and her attention to the smallest detail was just a delight! She very clearly genuinely cared about the customer experience and it shone through! This lovely lady obviously didn't know just how upset we were at having our anniversary lunch plans go so horribly wrong but I would love her to know that, thanks to her, our day was saved by her warmth and her friendly demeanour. Food! Due to the absolute disaster of our attempt at lunch in the previous hostelry, my appetite for food had somewhat waned. We asked if we could share a pizza and were informed of course! We chose a pizza with tomato cheese pepperoni and chilli (apologies forget the name!) and it was absolute gorgeous! The balance of ingredients was judged to perfection and the chilli heat was spot on! The pizza dough was thin, light and crispy and it was honestly the best pizza I have ever eaten! My Husband spotted some cake and asked if we were able to take some away. Yes of course and the cake was beautifully presented in a strong sturdy box and was absolutely delicious! Cleanliness and Décor The serving plates and side plates were of good quality, rustic looking and absolutely in keeping. Everything was immaculately clean and the décor was clean and contemporary. Price /Value for money! we were presented with the bill and my husband had to ask if a mistake had been made as it didn't seem enough! One diet coke (in a very nice glass by the way!) and a "proper" glass coke bottle One large pizza a stunning piece of cake and a 10% service charge £17.55 Would we return? you bet we will! Highly recommend this little gem of a restaurant!

We are quite local to Stratford and have visited here on a couple of occasions now. Never disappointed. Probably the best pizza we have ever had and well worth a visit.

Fantastic authentic Napoli pizza! This was the best pizza we’ve had in Brighton, especially take away. We had a Napoli, Diavola and a mozzarella and garlic pizza. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be ordering regularly. We have visited Naples many times and this is just what you would get in Napoli.
