Brilliant food friendly staff will go back again and good on price

Called in with my daughter and two granddaughters for a break from walking some of the Saxon Way. What a fantastic pub.The ale was excellent and the food very tasty. It was a shame to leave We will be back OH YES👍

Great place if you like Mexican food

Arrived on a sunny morning and ordered two big breakfasts and a toasted egg and bacon sandwich. Coffee arrived and waited about 15 mins for the breakfast. What a huge disappointment. Hash browns were stone cold as was the bacon. Between the two breakfasts i think we had three mushrooms sliced up! We had to warm up the hash browns by pouring the beans on them. Scrambled eggs were cold and snotty. Obviously this place has no facilities to cook properly and only offer scrambled eggs done in a microwave. What a shame as this place has a lot of potential but incompetently staffed.
