The best restaurants serving Default food in Pirbright Guildford South East

A superb proper pub with real beer kept in tip top condition and offering an excellent selection of fine wines. It's not a foodie pub but the snacks are fine and on occasions lovely food is available from visiting chefs serving from outside. Ignore the rather rude reviews about the landlord, he is the most delightful, welcoming and charming man .

When the pub first opened we had several lovely meals and couldn’t fault the service. Over the last year I have experience multiple poor dining experiences, with one experience of raw and undercooked chicken for everyone on the table who had ordered the chicken burger. The staff did remove this from the bill, as expected but once again I returned today and part of the roast dinner was cold, lacking in portion size and not worth the value.

Couldn't be bothered to cook lunch, so had a meal at this pub (which have visited occasionally). Slendid 8oz steak, chips, tomato and rocket. Very decent pint of Aspall's cider too. Staff were also very pleasant and courteous, so the whole dining experience (in a traditional pub) was excellent! Thanks very much!
