The best restaurants serving Default food in Rossendale North West

The pub seemed alright, bit dirty but it’s old I guess. The Ale selection is terrible and seemed over priced. They do serve some food, Pizzas’s mostly, but the fact that it’s cooked outside in a dirty trailer really puts me off them, plus, where is the good hygiene rating???? - Would not recommend!

3rd time now waited for over 2 hours, the first time the order was wrong so i had to drive down to get it corrected, ordered the bacon frazzel fries for £4.50 for it to have stale soft crisps in with the fries, and the phone service is dreadful as no one ever answers!

This cafe is now under new management, the new owners have created a superb cafe. This is the second time We have had breakfast here in a Sunday morning and it is absolutely wonderful. Really nicely cooked and the thick bread served with it is very nice. Reasonably priced as well. We will definitely be back.

I was told by the owner the 14inch pizzas are cooked in a 12inch pan, they are false advertising, they are tiny. My '14inch' pizza was 12inch at most 11inch in some parts, I've got pictures evidence. My 'triple cooked fries' were big fat undercooked chips like mash potatoes. My sauce didn't get sent. The owner made excuses for a few minutes refused to refund me and put the phone down on me. By that time the food was cold and I feel sick as I was so badly treated. Disgusting food & disgusting service. I will be contacting trading standards.

Called in on the chance of getting a proper hearty dinner after reading the reviews. Was greeted with staff who had zero personality and looked more like they wanted to fight you than serve you any food. Only wish the sandwich had as much food on it as the apron did on the person serving us had on. Price did not reflect the standard of sandwich served, a meal deal from across the road would be more substantial and better value. Disappointed.

This cafe offers a welcome respite for the weary Rambler. Outside seating would further enhance the experience. We will be back on our next Ramble. Thank you to the Lady who served us.

Escondido en una zona industrial es un porta kabin vendiendo spoon cafe comidas británicas típicas de grasa. ¿Qué no es típico que por dentro es limpio y alegre, y la calidad de la comida es superior. No hay restaurante pero sí una buena cocina al estilo de la casa. Un hallazgo.

Me and my hubby tried all the kebabs in rossendale and bacup balti is by far the best, best taste and value for money

Great food and service, thank you

Was not impressed at the service we received we had choose menu day before which was npt a problem but when we arrived we had walt to be seated,staff was very scarce there was 9 adults and one year old only 3/4 had starters they were served late but then had 1 1/2 to 2hours for main we had asked if there was something available for the 1 year old like a bread stick or slice of bread as he was very hungry was told 'no' my granson had to drive to the shops and get him a bag of wotsits we repeatedly asked when our food would be served no answers, eventually the food arrived steaks on a slate not all was hot so the meat was not fully cooked we had not been asked how we wanted them cooking. We left our food , paid the bill unaware that 10% was automatically added if we had known we would have declined paying it because of the service What was a mother's day present paid for by my grandson for his partner, his mum and me (his nan) was ruined Will not be going there again🤬 HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED

Shocking food! Ordered a chicken wrap meal and a cheese burger meal and my wrap come without any sauce, lettuce or anything else! The chicken was just hard crispy scraps and there was no real amount of chicken in the fried pieces of chicken! Will not be ordering again from them!

Pizzas are great from here, I order them all the time.

Dodgy all around. First off they price the food up wrong and overcharge me. I tell them to show me on the menu and the first guy starts stuttering, then the other guy comes in and he still can’t show me how they got to the price. And the food in general is just rubbish quality dry and the worst meat u could find. No apology or anything about the overcharging and not even the money back.
