The best restaurants serving Default food in Gorton North Manchester North West

I have been to this place on a few occasions both to sit in with my friend after a rough night in the local taverns. If you get chance to sit in, the cafe itself is small but generally you’re able to be seated with no issues and I would recommend the Full Monty Breakfast which believe me, comes with everything you need. I have been in a rush and needed something quick before and this establishment will not be to fault here. They have a great range of cold and hot sandwiches, and my suggestion go for the MEGA barms for £1 extra! If you live local and are stuck in the house, the cafe is also available to order on apps such as JustEat! The staff in there are always friendly and pleasant whenever I have come to the cafe, especially Clareese who I see works hard in the kitchen a lot!

Best meat and potato pie in Manchester, great pies and cakes. Fresh bed and hot pies. They cut your loaf to size you wont thin, medium, or thick sliced.

My brother, sister in law and I decided to have lunch in the Vale Cottage as they have recently advertised that they were serving food again. The Vale is such a friendly hidden gem and we have always loved this pub. There is a good sized free car park here so we parked up and walked in, we had not booked but received a warm welcome. The service was good and after placing our food order at the bar we were soon served. I asked for a Tuna Jacket Potato and salad and everything was fresh and tasty. My brother and sister in law opted for the home made cheese and onion pie with chips that they enjoyed. We loved the friendly atmosphere and were especially amused when a chap came in with his little black cat running along side him!! Definitely worth a visit.

It was my local pub, I always like to come back there for a pint.

Ordered a family platter, paid £40 to have our LOBSTER replaced by two mozzarella sticks without being told, they took they money and didn’t give us what we paid for, we also ordered noodles as a side but got dry pasta and some chips , didn’t receive the drinks we ordered they gave us different ones. If you don’t have what a customer has paid for I would recommend you call them and tell them not just send them what you fancy. Absolutely ridiculous, you pay for lobster and get mozzarella dippers.We also got given corn which we didn’t order nor like.

The food here is wonderful and their prices are very reasonable and much cheaper than some other places I've looked at. It always arrives very quickly and is still hot. I have been ordering food from here now for years and have never had an issue. I would like to recommend the crispy duck which is always juicy and isn't full of fat. It's cooked perfectly. The Vermicelli is also very nice, as is the Sesame Prawn on Toast. My ultimate favourite though is the beef, black bean sauce with fried rice. Their ribs are very tender and juicy, my aunt refuses to eat ribs from any other shop. Oh and try their Chinese curry sauce, it's very good. If you want any changes made to your meal they will happily oblige, I always ask for my dishes to be extra spicy and Chan's never disappoints. Thank You Chan's

Nice experience. As always, the food was simply excellent. The takeaway was wonderful. Good client service. The staff is courteous and friendly, and they treat each customer as if they were a family member.
