The best restaurants serving Default food in Frizington Copeland North West

Great selection of pies and they are made on-site. Very tasty Recommend the meat and potato. Staff are relatively friendly.

We called tlthe hound inn @ 11pm after getting stuck in a snow drift in the area. Caroline the barmaid called us back and welcomed us to the pub. We met the owner Pete and he was hilarious. Gave us endless chat and entertainment for the evening. Wonderful local friendly bub highly recommended

Lovely friendly independent cafe based in the church at Frizington. When we went we had booked because it gets packed out by local residents. My friend is local but I was visiting . We ordered tea for two and a lovely big pot with China cups and saucers arrived. More hot water to top up the pot no problem ! My friend had a delicious ( massive) omelette , salad and chips. I had the steak pie ( gorgeous gravy) , vegetables and again the wonderful home made chips ( best ever) . Crumbles or ginger cake with custard for dessert. I just loved the lively atmosphere . So great to see a place thriving in the north west lakes. A real hidden gem.

Want to be able to give it more stars :/ Nice to have a chip shop in such a small village. Easy to find, nice young woman behind the counter. As she was cooking the fish, I thought - hmm- should be now.... or now... or now. Well, so probably was, so a bit overcooked. Chips were good (glad I saw her salt/vinegar an order or 2 before mine so I could say 'no, thank you' to waaaay too much salt. Got an order of cold slaw. Ok - was a serving of mayo with some cabbage in it. Hope they consider some adjustments! Then would recommend.

Went in the store last night with my friend as we was hungry and our order was completely wrong and he tried to over charge us and adding extra on the bill got charged twice for a kebab & large Pepsi, pizza was not as ordered and asked for a garlic bread with cheese and peperoni but instead got a peproni pizza couldn't change as it was nearly closing time, will for sure not going back and the customer service was awful when my friend realised he got charged extra was like £7 difference just for a salad when questioned was extremely rude... so customer service sucked pizza was underwhelming all today I can't say I'm feeling particularly well.
