Always a delight visiting the Hoghton Arms so friendly and welcoming excellent service and delicious food always. Very dog friendly particularly with our little dog

8 of us arrived without booking on a sunny day. Plenty of walkers and pub was busy. Lady serving on bar bar explained it would 30/40 mins before order could be taken. We got our drinks and enjoyed chatting while waiting. The food was worth waiting for, it did not take long to arrive once ordered. It was delicious. Most had the cheeseburger with chips and salad. Cooked just right. The clean plates showed how much the meal was enjoyed. Staff was friendly and professional. Nothing to much trouble. Hope to return again soon.
