My partner being a massive Iron Maiden fan wanted to come visit here when we were in London for another concert. The night we were free to come through just so happened to be the same night another gig was on at the Cart & Horses - it was Airforce, so we decided to book tickets for this too. It was one of the best nights out we’ve had! From the moment we stepped up to the door to the very late time we left was just filled with friendly faces, great banter, well priced drinks and awesome music! The staff were just amazing, a massive shout out to one of the managers Pete, who was so cool with us the whole night, looked after us, told us so many stories - music related and others, and I left with a few collectibles. Can’t thank this place enough for the great memories and we’re desperate to come back here in December! 🖤

The food was good. They have good service. It did not take long before our order was processed. The waitress Asha was super helpful, and nice

Can only give a bland 'neither here nor there - middle of the range' score because we didn't actually get to enter. Hence nothing to judge! Accompanied friend, on Good Friday, who had travelled from West Country, particularly looking forward to sampling the much acclaimed BJ'S Pie & Mash Called by phone beforehand but received no reply or recorded message. However, the Website definitely declared that the place was 'open'. Mightily peeved therefore on arrival to a find notice on door stating that the establishment was closed for Easter. Such a shame that the website didn't provide up to date information and that the phone didn't respond with similar information. Great disappointment!

Jalaram Sweet Mart has been in Manor Park for ever but it is only recently I started going there. The food is delicious, especially i love the dholkra, green chutney and the potato curry. There are lots more curries, savoury snacks and traditional sweets. This vegetarian sweet and snack shop is a diamond in the rough. Unlike other shops nearby Ram provides excellent customer service, he provides a welcoming environment as soon as you enter Jalarams Sweet Mart, always service with a smile. A friendly smile goes a long way some places just care about selling but at Jalarams the family run business treat you as a friend as soon as you enter. It is also nice seeing other customers in the shop and having a chit chat. Definitely somewhere to visit if you want tasty food and great service. Jai. S

This restaurant is located in a growing town that needs more amenities and due to its excellence it is already the shining star. It is tucked away in the Royal Wharf square near the local mini-supermarket. It is small in size, but big in everything else. The decor is beautifully chic with lovely pink seats on the inside with a designer home feel with equally nice flooring and a marble table. The servers are nicely dressed and great your warmly. They provide an explanation of the menu and dishes. Despite having only the temporary menu available it was a delightful dining experience. The dim sum assortment was a visual display and excited the tastebuds. The crispy chilli beef and Hong Kong-style noodles were plentiful in size and taste. The wine selection though limited in stock provided an excellent bottle of white wine. There was no dessert option, but this may come once the full menu is available. The prices are reasonable for dining out. As a local diner, it is nice to have excellence close to home and not have to travel to Central London. A star of a restaurant is born.

A perfect location for lunch. A perfect team working to deliver exactly what you order. Fresh salads, ingredients and fruit for a wonderful array of juices. Comfortable and family run.

Small wine bar and Deli across the road from Forest Gate tube station, We called in for lunch, having found it on T/A. We broke our journey to visit . Lunch options while limited are filling and there is something for everyone. We had soup, a sharing meat/ cheese platter and a couple of drinks. The soup hit the spot and would have been enough for lunch as it was substantial . Service was friendly. We would have liked to linger a bit longer to enjoy the ambience , but had to rush away. If I was in the area again, I would love to visit again

The staff were absolutely amazing from the moment I entered, and it’s the cutest restaurant I’ve ever seen. The food, drinks and service was outstanding, best Ive ever had; the portions and the prices are just right. I absolutely loved my experience here, I will be returning.
