honestly one of the worst desserts I’ve ever ordered! ordered a waffle which was literally a soggy, cold toaster waffle with a bit of sauce and some strawberries which were clearly not fresh; tasted like they had come from a frozen pack - bland and soggy. milkshake just tasted completely off and didn’t have whipped cream as ordered. the cookie dough was so thin it basically stuck to the packaging and the kinder bueno topping was just 3 pieces of kinder so not even a full bar! the ice cream that’s supposed to be ‘whippy’ is just a scoop of plain vanilla. and to top it all off, the order took 1hr 20mins to arrive… would not recommend at all!

A lot of food for your money, very generous portions. Seriously, if you look at how much prep must go into their dishes compared with other takeaways, the value is superb. Great taste, piping hot, no complaint here. Oh, and the lad who takes your order is very helpful and has good manners. His mum must be very proud.

I would like to thank the manager and his staff for a really great evening celebrating our 60th Wedding Anniversary on the 17th of August. The service was superb. The food was also superb. Everything was served with a smile, and we were very well looked after for the whole evening. There were 15 people there for our celebrations, and everyone has asked me to express their thanks for a memorable evening. Siggy and I would certainly recommend The Fisherman in Stevenage. Once again. Thank you.

I've been wanting to go to this restaurant for a while now, and it didn't disappoint. It's decorated beautifully throughout! The cocktails we had were very good, and could not fault the food - we ordered the steak and the burger, both were really good! The only slight negative is that the service was very slow, but it didn't matter too much to us, as we were not in a rush and just enjoyed our evening.

We ordered through Just Eat and found the prices quite expensive. We did not expect that choosing no sauce would mean nothing between bread and source. Would anyone want that... The next disappointment was that IMMEDIATELY we had placed the order we were texted to say that the order was delayed and would take almost twice the agreed time. You must have known before we placed the order. When it did eventually come there was an additional second pizza that we were not expecting, perhaps by way of appology. The pizza was OK, even without the sauce. We also had a couple of kebabs that we did order and were well received. Perhaps reduce the price and keep to the agreed time.

Great pub amazing staff, all sorts of music made me feel very welcome.all over great pub to drink in . Younge to old. Sam your doing an amazing job.
