The best restaurants serving Default food in Valley Hill King's Lynn and West Norfolk East of England

Visited The Anvil when holidaying in area , so pleased I did , what a find . Felt very welcome as soon as I walked in . I asked if they did veggie dishes when i booked , waitress had a note made to the effect I was veggie . Great choice , terrific value. Excellent service, 1st class food . In fact 1st class in every way . Well recommended

Stopped by for takeaway the other day and I was very impressed by the short amount of time it took to put together my order and for it to still taste great. I ordered a pasta which looked and tasted delicious. The chicken pizza with pineapple and BBQ sauce was amazing but the sicilian pizza was quite disappointing as it was plain and had very small quantities of each ingredient. Can’t wait to soon try the dessert pizzas.

Such a cute little café, very small so I would definitely book if you want to sit indoors. Lots of choice on the menu and prices pretty good. I want to come back and try the afternoon tea.

I went with my husband and our two dogs for an impromptu breakfast at the Sandringham restaurant. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly lady who was kind to our dogs and gave them a couple of treats whilst we waited for a table to be ready in the dog friendly area. A lovely polite young man called Lucas came to take us to our table and seated us in a great area with space for our pooches. There are dog blankets at each table and a bowl of water was provided which was well received by our thirsty girls. We ordered pancakes with bacon/honey and poached egg with avocado on sourdough, coffee, ginger beer and a decadent hot chocolate served in the most beautiful royal china. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated, a light and airy space giving it a casual and relaxed atmosphere. All of the staff were efficient, friendly, polite, the drinks and food came at the right time and it was delicious! Well done to the team, we will be back!

A lovely looking pub/restaurant in a great location that could have been really great. Unfortunately I have say that the food really wasn't very good. The tiny piece of Steak"Halibut was overpriced at £28 and the Vegan "Skewed Seitan Steak" sic, was actively unpleasant and a struggle to finish. Worst of all were two Rum Baba desserts.: they were dried up, stale and completely uneatable. They should never have been served to customers and we both left all bar the first mouthful, yet the waitress didn't even ask if there was a problem with them. We didn't want to make a fuss on the night, and wish this place well for the future, but it will have to improve its restaurant offering. Came early for breakfast so we were one of 4 tables occupied. We were greeted by a lovely blonde lady who escorted us to our table. Another blonde lady took our order, she was extremely cold and blunt to the point my children looked at me in shock! A young gentleman brought us our food who was very lovely. Food wise we had 3 full English breakfasts and one kids pancake. It was nice albeit not amazing. Plate was swimming in beans so would have preferred them in a bowl so not to get the rest of the items wet from them. Potatoes were lovely. Kids pancake was a good size portion. Used the bathroom before leaving and was shocked at them. The ladies needs a good deep clean and tidy up.

This is the best restaurant in the area- by a lot. We ate here 3 nights running after high tailing it out off the Rose & Crown and finding the Old Bank closed for a private function. The menu was different each night with plentiful fish specials. Elevated cuisine beautifully presented, if somewhat small portions. We thought it reasonably priced. The cheese course is not to be missed! Great staff & pretty room only add to the experience. Lots of healthy options…yummy warm gluten free bread, even a delicious gluten free berry crumble for dessert with diary free coconut ice cream! We tried almost the entire menu & never had a bite we didn’t enjoy.
