The best restaurants serving Default food in Aldbury and Wigginton Dacorum East of England

Rene cooked for ten of our closest friends at our house in celebration of my 60th birthday. The food was stunning. Can’t wait to do it again.

Too pricey for the essentials, and not interested in coffee. Doesn’t really seem to serve a purpose. I think it’s basically a hangout for mums and boomers.

This place used to be good, when Mai's Vietnamese kitchen operated there, but now it's reopened as Church Farm Cafe, it's gone down the pan! Pretentious decoration with unfriendly in fact downright rude staff serving overpriced food that appears to have come straight from Tesco. Never again!

Very disappointing. Lovely sunny afternoon, should have been buzzing, like it used to be. But there was no atmosphere, just a few people sitting round the edge with a coffee or tea. It was 3.0 on a Friday afternoon in the school holidays. NO CAKE available, no sign of anybody eating food.. Cup of tea was fine but ridiculously expensive at £2.70. It’s in an ideal location, loads of people go there. Bringing it in house is not working. National Trust have destroyed a perfectly good business.

Nice pub with friendly staff. Great food with reasonable prices. Nice garden at the back and a small carpark.

I stayed for two nights. My room was a home from home. Very clean with lovely bed linen. The food, drink and service was outstanding. The village and the surrounding countryside is wonderful.

Visited for set lunch menu with a shared starter and shared dessert and two fish and chips - small portions but lovely food, good service and relaxed vibe. Wine bumped up the price more than we planned but no regrets as a lovely sunny lunchtime- will return
