The best restaurants serving British food in Thorntons Hambleton Yorkshire and The Humber

This is a beautiful little gem of a garden tea rooms. They have a fabulous selection of cakes and other savoury and sweet baked goodies and are excellent for gluten free and always have a really good selection. Their afternoon tea is amazing!

Sunday lunch for four was not cheap but the food was excellent and the service very good. The 2 house red wines, sangiovese and shiraz were served far too cold and both wines were quite honestly awful. We feel some change was needed urgently.
