The best restaurants serving British food in Yorkshire and The Humber

I've been a few times now to Kafka and went there last with my wife. It's located opposite Huddersfield Uni and opened recently once restrictions were lifted. The decor is eclectic and you can easily spend an hour looking at the various items on show. I also tried a number of beers, including Kafka's own. Very nice. The staff are friendly and the prices are cheap too with various drinks offers. They have DJs playing vinyl too on weekend evenings.

We have had Sunday roast here several times. Always of the highest quality. At least nine veg with the meat plus Yorkshire puddings. Lovely roast potatoes. Would highly recommend.

Super friendly and accommodating for our party of 8 including 4 kids. Everybody happy! Great lunch. Kids enjoyed bacon sandwiches.

This is a proper little local tea room. Great atmosphere, lots of friendly locals, super staff and service. We had a mug of tea and a toasted teacake and it was worth the trip from New Zealand for this place alone. Maltby might not be swarming with tourists, but if it was, this wouldn't disappoint.

The little chippy opened under new ownership about 4 months ago. Since then my wife and i have been buying our Fish & Chips it started with just once e week, but they are so lovely we have them a minimum of twice e week somtimes more. The fish is the best quality and it is fried and presented beautifully in a real y good quality batter. These are the best fish and chips i have ever tasted. Once you have been here you will never go anywhere else for your fish.Do youself a favour try them.

Picked up 4 different takeout cheese cakes for family dessert while on holiday and they were all amazing. I’ll make it a point to visit this shop every time I come to Scarborough. Also had their marshmallows and Nutella Brownie for a cheeky snack at lunch - they were equally amazing.

These amazing doughnuts are huge and tasty and whoever designs them they definitely have a good taste pallet,have a good Sunday delivery service as long as you order by 12 on Saturday ,only problem I've found is that their doughnuts are so amazing that now other doughnuts even Krispy Kreme don't taste good in comparison

Tuvimos una estancia absolutamente maravillosa en este B&B. El alojamiento era genial, y el pan casero era algo fuera de este mundo. La ubicación es excelente, a sólo unos minutos a pie del casco histórico de la ciudad de Lincoln, y que se lo recomendaría a cualquiera. sólo la más excelente hospitalidad! ¡Gracias!

Lovely sandwiches and amazing lemon meringue pie on offer. The staff are amazing, so friendly and warm. Worth a visit.

Love it here, whether its just for a coffee or something more, delicious sandwiches, and mouthwatering cakes, theyre to die for!! Also a good take away service and very good efficient staff, they made me feel really welcome as was feeling poorly and in need of some comfort and a good hot tasty soup, to warm me up. Dog friendly and cosy will definitely be a regular customer here for life as I love the chilled out atmosphere.
