The best restaurants serving British food in Loton Shropshire West Midlands

I could write a short novel about how wonderful Rowton Castle is, but I'll try to distill it down to two main points people actually might read: - The staff know their stuff. From food to decor to events schedules, literally they have it down to a science. I'm a controlling and anxious person, and I could not have been more relaxed on my wedding day knowing they had it all under control. - The venue itself is beautiful. All the charm of a castle, all the comfort of a luxury hotel. We had to change our original wedding plans late in the game, and I am so blessed that we found Rowton. The staff were all kind and responsive for everything. Weddings are a lot, but working with them made it possible for me to manage re-planning a whole wedding in a matter of a couple of months. They went out of their way to ensure our food was exactly what we wanted (which was critical with the groom being a chef!). Every detail was accounted for, they asked questions I didn't even think about, and were just a delight to work with. All of our guests were so impressed by the venue and the staff, I keep hearing how lovely it all was. Special thanks to Corryn, Chloe, and Lucy for being so patient, kind, and amazing with everything!

Nice, clean, friendly staff and atmosphere, great food

Came for lunch before hospital and my veggie pattie was freezing. Not very happy worker, a smile would be nice. A staff member came in and started work without washing her hands 🤢. Not a good place to eat at all not recommended at all.
