A very special evening ruined, when we complained about a man at the bar kicking and hitting his dog with a heavy rope, I was told it was his pub and it was up to him what he did to his dog, and he would smash my face in if I wanted, the staff apologised but damage was already done, they did not remove him from the bar, probably still drinking there, the food was good, and I paid the bill in full. I was approached by the threatening man who said sorry for losing it about the dogs.

Really good food and the children’s meals are fantastic. Staff I have to say are always friendly and Harrison behind the bar is an absolute star nothing to much trouble and super friendly and good at his job . Well done Harrison top young man
