The best restaurants serving Arabian food in West End City of London, Westminster London

Just dined here thirty minutes back. The food was very good but the service pathetic and basically uninterested staff. So here it goes. We made a booking and arrived here at 9:30 to be given a nice table. A guy comes and I ask him if he spoke in Hindi to which he replied he does not. No problem. Only to hear him speak a few minutes later. No problem here as well. Food arrives and is quick and very nice. Much better than a lot of Indian fare available. Four out of five stars to the food. Now I spill a dash of curry on my shirt. I ask the waitress if she has any finger bowls or wet wipes and she says no. I ask again that it is an Indian restaurant and surely they would have some wipes. No she does not she says again. No problem. I go to the toilet to find the flush does not work ( I did go when I came and was not working then and now it is a smelly yellow dirty toilet ) and there are of course no tissues in the toilet or paper. So I walk out of there with an ugly stain that stuck around. I call for the bill and it has a 12.5 % discretionary charge. I ask them is this required and they make a face and say yes. I pay the bill and quietly leave only to never come again. What a pity. The food was very nice. Only if the management would hire some good staff and not half hearted uninterested people who could not be bothered and are a far cry from the hospitality industry. They should come to India to learn a thing or two about what hospitality is. But then this is an Indian restaurant in London. Why would they care.
