Amazing food. London prices, obviously, but worth it. All the dishes are great.

Been a customer since 2010 and visited once again while i visited London now, was very disappointed to know the kitchen was not accommodating. Only request to help ask the chef to prepare a less spicy food for child was not comprehended - the restaurant manager didn’t even bother to goto the kitchen (for drama) to ask the chef if he can help prepare a portion meal for a child. I used to be a regular here from 2010-2012 and the staff were so welcoming and warm. Unfortunately, cannot say the same for the current team. Management does need to look into this. This time I sadly walked out of the restaurant when the team behaved such, and neither had an ounce of regret. Very sad.

Relaxed atmosphere and soul-warming food! Recommend the mango lassi, butter chicken Thali, lamb roganjosh, and garlic naan of course. The food felt very traditional and authentic rather than experimental. This would be a great place to take a large group of people and you can order multiple dishes for everyone to sample. Otherwise get the Thali to try a little bit of everything. 100% recommend!

Its one of my favourite place to dine out with friends and family. Quality of the food is just so good ! Dishes are very authentic . The service is equally good . Overall very good value for the money spent

Gekende keten, grote zaak en daardoor wat gevoel van in een massa te zitten. Gerechten zijn meer dan goed maar alles gaat wat snel. Toch meer dan vroeger naar ons gevoel. Te snelle bediening wel. Vriendelijk personeel. Reserveren is een must.

The food is delicious with a nice blend of spice especially if you like hot dishes. The staff are polite and efficient and keep their cool especially on a Friday when it's super busy. The atmosphere is great, lively, given central location. Just be warned to be prepared to spend a few quid as the dishes aren't cheap, venturing further out to east London restaurants can offer better value if you can make the trip. But all in all, a nice spot for meeting up with friends after work given accessible location.

Got thali something. Curry itself was really nice. On the menu, it said some of the sides are fresh veggies, but no fresh veggies. They were all cooked. Also, two of them were a bit too spicy to handle. I'd just get the curry, not thali next time.

I attended on Friday 15 March 2024 and for me the food was terrible. I ordered the chicken thali. The butter chicken had very few pieces of chicken and the sauce was something that was out of a can and not fresh. It came with an okra and red pepper dry sabzi which was a strange combination that did not go well, was not spicy and the okra was not cooked thoroughly.

Very nice atmosphere, the staff are really friendly and excellent value for money. I came for my sister's birthday and it was a memorable evening. Very awesome staff, came here for my sister’s birthday and it was just Perfect.

Loved the food 🥘 The ambience is beautiful and bright. Service was good. Lot many good options to order from. We order jalebi chaat, paneer tikka and biryani veg/nonveg. Jalebi chaat I would rate 5/5 for those who love sweet and sour balance. Paneer tikka was average 3.5/5 the freshness of paneer was good. Biryani’s we ordered were amazingly delicious 🤤 Overall a nice place to have a good Indian food and drinks.

Some.of the best food I've had in ages. Went for a birthday,y partner and I had the shared veggie Grazing selection and were blown away by the first 4 selections. The cheese balls weren't our favourite, but still good! Servers were extremely attentive and made sure everything was to our liking. Would absolutely recommend going here!

Good food with authentic taste.. One for foodies ..try Delhi Jalebi Chaat and Amritsari Cheese Balls...

we enjoyed the biryani on our recent visit and it's no surprise that we chose to return for a second time.

If you are a south asian then it is better to have the dishes in your home country. the staff is very nice and the ambience is amazing. We ordered butter chicken and two naans. The naans were really good but the butter chicken didn't catch the south asian taste from back home.

I loved it. Excellent food, excellent and knowledgeable wait staff, excellent atmosphere. The food was great and true to it's origin and regions. The menu choices that were sampler platters were great for those who want to try things they otherwise would not have as single dishes, and the portions were.just right. Sometimes you get huge portions which either go to waste cause you don't want to take them with you, or you'd be too stuffed to move if you ate it all. Prices were quite reasonable for the location as well. Highly recommended.

Tasty food but portion sizes are very small for the prices. Also, do check your bill items in the end, we had an extra item on our bill but did not bother raising it given the amount in question

Roque gave the best service throughout our full trip to London (3 days). We needed to split the bill with all individuals, which we had continuous difficultly with. Very structured and organised. Food was amazing, price good! Service was attentive. Thank you Roque and team!! We will be back!

Excellent restaurant. Friendly atmosphere. We ordered the butter chicken and the lamb biryani, both were excellently cooked. Also the butter Nan and the cheese Nan were excellent. All food is halal. It was a lovely meal. However, I was keen on the Kerala Seafood Biryani which had a coconut flavour and vermicelli rice. I would like to return to the restaurant to try that again. Please bring that back. Thanks.

Estaba todo muy bueno. Precios ajustados para ser Londres. Amplio, bien atendido. Demasiado oscuro ,lo iluminaría un poco más.

Great Ambience and amazing desi food. Spice level not at par with what you would expect for the South Asian cuisine but I guess that’s what fusion cuisine is.

Best Restaurant experience ever! Everything was excellent: Service, Ambiente and Most emportantly the FOOD! The food Took only 10 minutes to come. We had the veggie and chicken THALI. high quality and the Aroma was a true experience. We will Return for sure.

I absolutely love this Indian restaurant. The butter chicken is amazing, with perfect balance of creaminess and flavor. The staff here has consistently been incredibly welcoming.

Masala Zone in Soho has a beautiful ambiance with serene lighting. The staff is professional and friendly. While the starters, especially the cheese balls and pani puri, are fantastic, the main course has limited vegetarian options. The Pav Bhaji, though beautifully presented, lacked salt. Adding more variety to the main course and a touch of spice would enhance the overall dining experience. Great for appetizers and ambiance.

This was a very enjoyable meal. The setting is very pretty and aesthetically attractive and despite the restaurant being busy the atmosphere was by no means oppressive or too loud. The four of us each ordered a curry with rice and naan bread, and one drink each. My food (lamb rogan josh with peshwari naan) was extremely tasty and a well-sized portion. All of my fellow diners also enjoyed their food. The prices at Masala are higher than in your standard high-street curry house, but the food is also much superior, so the cost is well worth it. I have plans to return and would recommend for a weekday dinner.

Starters are good, main dishes are average. Customer service is great, one of the staff doesn’t seem to be happy to serve us. Not interested to take orders, when he got the orders finally he got it wrong. Had to ask for water bottles twice. At the end we made about £400 worth sales for them, I’d recommend Soho than Piccadilly. Place looks a bit crammed up, but the quality and decor are great.

Very poor waitress service unwilling to fit 10 people in a table that could clearly fit 10 just because the booking was for 8. One of our friends had to leave and that spoiled our evening completely. That’s a real shame as food was top and the service from Rodriguez (other waiter) was impeccable

We ordered on Deliveroo and only half the delivery turned up. We then called the restaurant and the manager had I don’t really care attitude. He told us it was our problem and that we had to sort it out he was very rude and just acted as if we didn’t matter. Also on Deliveroo please be aware that the allergy information is not correct so do not trust when it says what is does and doesn’t contain because it could contain it and end in disaster !!! Allergies have to be taken seriously because these could lead to death.

Very good all round. Excellent menu and choice of dishes both meat and veg. Jalebi chaat was a unique and good take on a sweet chaat. Crispy onion flower was well presented and tata red great with the dish chutney. Pav slider and masala chips were also very good, great for sharing. Balanced tasty cocktails, service excellent too, staff were friendly and attentive. Recommended and will revisit to try other items on the menu!

Overall pretty good food. We didn’t personally like the biriyani, however everything else was fragrant and tasty. I’d say that Masalazone is a decent Indian restaurant.

We’d booked in advance but were asked to wait when we got there as table not ready. That was ok although it would’ve been nice to have been offered a drink or something while we waited. We were given a table right next to the serving station in the middle of the restaurant so lots of waiter activity, clanking cutlery and chinking glasses throughout our meal - not so good. Service was very good. Starters were very nice and mains ok - but I got the biggest lump of lamb fat disguised as lamb meat in my rogan josh - not pleasant. Didn’t stay for dessert as had to leave. Food slightly overpriced imo. Toilets (ladies) needed a good (and regular) clean.

One of the first Indian restaurants I have visited and my lack of experience regarding Indian food can be misleading. While visiting London I’ve come across this restaurant and decided to have a quick snack. However the fried prawns felt dull with no flavour whatsoever. The burgers were okay but there was no sauce that would enhance the taste of vegan patty. The service was polite and quick. The atmosphere was pleasant and culturally appropriate. Definitely would give it another try but New restaurants need to be tried before I could give my final thought.

Paseando por el Soho vimos el local con un ambiente extraordinario y aunque estaba lleno entramos, nos atendieron amablemente y sin reserva nos hicieron un hueco. Hay que decir que mi ingles es muy malo aunque mi hija lo habla correctamente, y era nuestra primera incursión el la comida hindú. La atención de todo el personal es inmejorable, incluso nos atendió una camarera que chapurreaba el castellano y con mucha paciencia nos asesoro extraordinariamente. Calidad precio muy buena, teniendo en cuenta que Londres es muy cara. Local totalmente recomendable y cuando vuelva a la ciudad me tienen como usuario seguro.

Small portions, big prices, low service. It’s not worth visiting again. Main dish with no rice included. It’s the cheapest recipe. Total cost around 85 pounds for 2 main dishes 2 side dishes plus one portion rice , water and soft drinks It was hard to communicate with the service properly. Charging 12,5% service fee for this lack of quality in service is outrageous.

First time trying indian food but will not be the last one, I do must say it was more spicy than I expected. Consider a 12.5% service fee not included un menu prices

Πλήρωσα 53.40£ για να φάω αυτά τα αστεία πιάτα.Αδιαφορα,ουδέτερα δίχως καμία φαντασία και επίπεδο γαστρονομικής εξερεύνησης δίχως καν το στοιχειώδη τυπικό χαρακτηρα μιας τέτοιας κουζίνας.Τα έτρωγα και σπίτι και δε θα πλήρωνα ούτε 1 σεντ.Ντροπη.Μικροσκοπικες μερίδες παιδιού και από γεύση για κλάματα.Πετσξα τα λεφτά μου έτσι απλά και έψαχνα να βρω να φάω και κάτι άλλο.αίσχος.Αγελαστο προσωπικό γεμάτο ύφος και παρόλα αυτά μας χρέωσαν και 6£ για την εξυπηρέτηση.Η νααν κόστιζε 4,5 λίρες και είχε την ίδια τιμή με το νερό σε μπουκάλι.Το νερό της βρύσης δε μας το ανέφεραν και πληρώσαμε με μπουκάλι μέχρι να δω τυχαία όταν πήγαινα τουαλετα ότι έχουν βρύση με κανατες. The building and atmosphere were very nice. However, the food was extremely disappointing. Each dish was extremely lacking in quality and flavour, especially the chicken biryani which had absolutely no flavour or spices. We asked the waiter if anything could be done about the lack of spice (chili flakes or hot sauce even) and he gave us sweet tamarind chutney which does not go well at all with biryani. Also, the prices are much higher than dishoom and gymkhana which are phenomenal (not even comparable to this). They also added a service charge even though the service was extremely slow and lacking.

A reliable place for Indian food if in this area. We were fortunate to get a table as we had no reservation. Good selection and choice of dishes and drinks. Our waitress Nasree was really helpful and when we had a problem with one of the dishes, she swiftly rectified the issue. Excellent Customer service

Dès l'entrée nous sommes plongés dans une ambiance indienne très chic. Le service était incroyable, notre serveuse était vraiment adorables et aux petits soins (Foh Puri, Bipana sur le ticket de caisse). Un sans faute pour le service. Les plats étaient copieux et très bons. Les épices relevées les plats mais pas en excès, c'était parfaitement dosé. Nous avons opté pour un butter chicken, un mixed grill ainsi qu'un naan à l'ail. A savoir qu'en cette période de Noël il est très compliqué de trouver un restaurant le soir dans le quartier de Soho/covent garden sans réserver. Nous avons choisi celui ci car il était très simple de réserver en ligne, je vous le conseille pendant ces périodes de fortes affluences. Et nous avons très bien mangé sans se ruiner, nous reviendrons lors de notre prochain séjour à Londres.

Had a lovely meal recently with my daughter. I had the vegetable biryani with garlic Nan and she had a butter chicken Thali which was recommended by the lovely waiter who served us both were delicious
