The best restaurants in Gorseinon Swansea South Wales

We stopped off here after a walk around the woodland. Lovely clean and friendly cafe. We were invited to take our dogs into the cafe. Nice amount of space between tables and chairs for our 2 hounds to lay down. We ordered a pot of welsh tea, coffee and two scones with jam, butter and clotted cream. Scones were delicious, proper home made and beautifully fresh. Staff were lovely. Would recommend a visit. Plenty of parking space.

WENT TO GREEGS in gorseinon today all I can say is WOW I HAVE allergy to eggs and my son told the lady one with breakfast with an egg the other not ... The lady called Louise NOT ONLY made sure she did my breakfast roll individually but also made sure she used a different utensil and wrapped the breakfast roll in tissue then paper bag then put a special sticker on it ..I was SO SURPRISED that she went to all the trouble that the roll was presented with no cross contamination !!! WOW I'm so surprised she took all her time in preparing it carefully.... I HAVE BEEN ALL OVER THE UK and NEVER EVER HAD that kind of attention its A SHAME OTHERS DONT TAKE THE SAME KIND OF ATTENTION like Louise did !!! TRULY MAGNIFICENT in this day and age with so many allergies severe and otherwise!!! YOU can.never be to careful ...

Visited regularly for years, both eating and and take away The food is always excellent and the service is top class, you won't find a better Indian anywhere

Was the best fish and chips in a 30 mile radius but is now just a good meal and normal service. A pity this was an exceptional restaurant. Still worth a visit ut don't go out of your way.

Friday night Chippy, Very busy being a Friday, Amazing service had a small issue, and it was rectified straight away. Food amazing, we had chips, half rice, and chicken curry and salard with chicken strips. Staff was really helpful and friendly, condensering how busy it was. Thank you.

I'm afraid I must agree with one of the other reviews on here about the food. I had a dhansak, which is supposed to be hot and sweet. I thought it would be great as the texture was perfect, and it looked good. It was certainly hot, but not the slightest hint of sweetness. My daughter has a butter chicken which had a lot of food colouring (very red), but tasted of nothing but dessicated coconut. The sauce was not even particularly creamy. We also had a vegetable and lentil side dish which again had no real flavour, and I couldn't detect any lentils. It was mostly liquid, more like a plain vegetable soup. My daughter also said the rice was clumped together as though repeated. As with there other review, the portions were generous and the food was piping hot. Considering all the positive reviews, I must have just been unlucky.

Lucy’s Best Bites on Gorseinon High Street is a hidden gem! We stop by whenever we can, and it’s always a treat. The food is delicious—fresh, tasty, and so satisfying. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and Lucy and her team are just lovely. They go out of their way to make sure you feel at home. If you’re in the area and want great food and friendly service, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Tried this last night for the first time and it was lovely. I had the beef curry, rice and chips which was great. The chef Cooked a nice healthy dish for my wife and she really enjoyed. I would order from here again.
