Mai Hong - Chinese Takeaway - Gorseinon, Swansea in Swansea

Tried this last night for the first time and it was lovely. I had the beef curry, rice and chips which was great. The chef Cooked a nice healthy dish for my wife and she really enjoyed. I would order from here again.

Tried this as our usual was closed...now it's our new Chinese. Good is fresh and tasty and definitely the best in gorseinon

Got different style of dishes. Various option for dinner. Personally suggest crispy aromatics duck, crispy beef and house special curry. One dish already make me full. One of my favorite choice for family gathering.

New owners and food is great and staff are very friendly and polite. Also the food hygiene rating has gone upto 5 before these owners it was low rate

Nice food, speedy service and reasonable prices.

First try at the Christmas Eve. Food is really good especially the Crispy Beef and salt&pepper chicken. The delivery service is also good. Food still hot when they arrive. In general it worth a try when you don’t want to cook.

Worst Chinese we have ever had!!! chips hard, chicken balls were mostly batter and sauces didn't have any flavour wouldn't recommend

Felt like having a bit of Chinese food while staying at travellodge at the services. Glad I ordered from here. Quality, portions, temperature and spice levels were all great. Prompt delivery and happy to modify food to taste. My new favourite in this part of town 😊

No idea why anyone would leave a low review, the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. Perfect chicken, perfect rice, everything made fresh, great customer service skills… Everything served is made exactly how it should. I have no negative comments.

Shocked at the low reviews the restaurant has because it’s the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. The staff are very friendly and repeat orders over the phone to confirm everything is correct. Can’t fault them 10/10

After waiting an hour for delivery as it was Saturday night I then had to put all my food in the microwave as it was so cold. When ringing to question it they thought a bottle of coke is acceptable resolution.

I was surprised to find that I like this takeaway Chinese food very much. The taste of the food is very good, and I am satisfied with the portion and price. Like it 👍

Awful girl on the phone didnt sound as if she had a clue when ordering. Food wasnt cooked properly chicken pink in the middle and left part of the order out. First time orderimg and the last. Shut the place down for me

Just had a £40 takeaway from Mai hong Worst food ever small portions cold food No extras as promised When phoned to complain not interested Avoid at all cost.

Poor no taste to the food whatsoever and the chicken in the curry is a pathetic excuse of processed chicken it is more like slime never again I’m afraid

Best 1 there is in Gorseinon, we have tried them all. Consistent. Mai hong Special rice is good, with slices of meat on top.

Used to have 4 stars hygiene. Then 1, now 2. Unacceptable, need to up their cleanliness by quite a lot.

Waited 2 hours for our weekend takeaway, half food missing rest of food cold . Told when complained she would sort it out next time.... i dont think so won't be ordering again complete waste of time and money. Feel robbed definitely one to avoid

Ordered food 3 times from here recently and been very disappointed. Definitely deserve a 1 star hygiene rating. Lady answering phone is very abrupt and rude. Definitely will not order food from here again, shouldn’t be 1 star hygiene it should be 0. Happy chef up the road is 100% nicer and better food

Normally fantastic but really let themselves down today. Ordered online. Went to pick up at 6.45pm as stated. Was told when collecting I had time wrong should be 7.30pm. Sat in car for 45mins to go back in and be told that in fact I was correct and pick up time was 6.45pm. Tried to palm food off on me that had been sitting in a box behind her for 45mins and gone cold. No apology just started giving attitude and was rude asking for £25 when I asked for fresh food. Let's just say I didn't pay and left. Very poor.

There should be an option for zero stars. Disgusting bland tasteless food. Chop suey was inedible, chips could bounce off the floor they were so overcooked. Worst chinese I've ecer eaten.

We had food a several times from this place and every time food was as expected! Arrived in time, hot and delicious as should be! Prices are acceptable as any other take aways in the area ! We are very pleased with this place! Thank you for your quality food!!!

Really NOT GOOD . we ordered good from there as a takeaway oh DEAR !! IT WAS SO SPICY my son couidnt eat it ..we asked for refund they got shirty with us and shouted at us they didnt like giving us the money back and were very disgruntled .. THE chilli food which we did not ask for could if killed my daughter had she had some she goes into a anaphylactic shock !!!! not good I'd stay away persinalky OR MAKE SURE YOUR ORDER IS NOT CHILLI. or else

Would not recommend at all. Really poor food, stale poppadoms, sauces just gelatinous and tasteless and not cheap for what you get.

If this had a delivery service I would 5 ⭐️ I call them I order, they say 10-15 mins or however long. I get my shoes on grab my keys and put on my jacket and drive down. It's half a mile away from my house. Every time I go in there my food is there ready unlike all the others where you go after calling and wait. No point calling in advance to others. Mai Hong has always been my favourite
