Went to Pebbles for a meal after looking at reviews. We were disappointed with the location of the table that we were given, it was in the noisy bar area. We both ordered the Gourmet beefburger and fries, mine was cooked but my partners was raw in the middle!! We told a member of staff who took the plate away and returned 10 minutes later with the same plate with the beefburger still not cooked through and the fries over cooked!!! They must have put the plate under a grill and hoped for the best? We complained and refused to pay for her meal. They accepted this and said it was down to an individuals take on what is cooked and what is not??? Definitely will not be going back or recommending.

Revisited as had a super meal here three years ago. Unfortunately, left disappointed. The Persian prawns were good, but the other couple of tapas dishes were not. The Sea Bass was under cooked. The customer service was fine, and the cost of the Sea Bass was removed from the bill.

First thing I noticed was that everyone was greeted really warmly and made to feel at home. I really like the decor, and it has a lovely atmosphere. We ordered 2 vegetarian breakfasts and they were delicious! Also the cappuccino was one of the best I’ve had & was just what we needed. We didn’t taste any of the cakes as we were full after breakfast but they all looked lush, would defiantly come back again!

A lovely traditional dog-friendly pub with an excellent selection of food. We visited for late lunch and the staff were really lovely and accommodating. We arrived just before the end of lunch service but we didn’t feel rushed to order at all. We had a fish goujon sandwich, a ham and cheese toastie and a bowl of chips. Both excellent on fresh local bread, really lovely fish and quality thick cut ham, great chips. The pub has recently been taken over and the new owner was very nice. The staff came over to check everything was ok and were very friendly and attentive. The pubs had some bad reviews on trip advisor recently which we found unjustified, the food is as good as ever and the seating arrangements are now more flexible for dog owners and families. A must visit in Anglesey!

We had a great night at The Benllech. We booked dinner for 15 of us, a local table tennis group. We had a mixture of Christmas menu and normal menu. We were well looked after by very friendly staff. The food and service were excellent and portions were large. Drinks were also reasonably priced. There was an excellent atmosphere which made for a great evening out. Thank you to all the staff and we would highly recommend you to others.

As a party of three we dined at the restaurant and two of the party had Lamb Pie which came on a plate swimming in gravy and three large " new potatoes " that had been under it seemed the grill to warm them up but in fact on both plates they had been burnt ! the vegetable was a small piece of broccoli which was in-edible ! Have to say looked like a poor school dinner with no presentation and indeed was lukewarm ! I ordered linguine which was again sadly very poor very few prawns and indeed crabmeat and again lukewarm ! The bill was near £90 without alcohol and it is now so important to present food well given the £20 levels which now operate ! The service good but the food awful so heading for Menai in the future after long association with the Boathouse over the years !

Booked a table for 4 over a week in advance. We turned up 5 minutes before our allocated time to find the place all locked up. Despite there being lights on in.the upstairs rooms no one came to answer the door despite ringing the bell and knocking!!! We left a note through the door stating that we had in fact been to the place but still no one had the decency to ring with an explanation. We left our telephone number at the time of booking. Never have we experienced such treatment from anywhere in Anglesey and would.not advise anyone to go there. Incidentally we had travelled some 15 miles to get there!!!!
