The best restaurants in Aberdeenshire North East Scotland

On a very wet day we were recommended to come here and were not disappointed. Warm and friendly welcome, excellent service and delicious lunch. Akira and Carol both attended to little details without asking - ie Carol serving an extra large portion of chips when I declined other veg that were on the menu (brother in law pleased to help me out!) and Akira giving my sister a takeaway box as she couldn't manage the whole of her panini. Brillliant. I live in Devon so may not be passing through again but would wholeheartedly recommend visiting.

Delicious breaded haddock, good sized portions of chips, homemade crisps were delicious, donuts very tasty. Friendly staff

We had a very interesting selection of toasties for lunch - had never thought of putting haggis or venison salami with cheese - both very tasty. Great coffee too and friendly service. The cakes looked great as well but we were too full!

Oh it was absolutely incredible seriously, the fillets are so tender and the chips are full of flavour. The staff are very helpful. Defo Scran It. Proper ding dang do. Only fault is the prices, but its still a defo scran it.

Saw through the window that they did pies. We wanted something "simple" with venison. They had a large Venison and cranberry pie ( and some beef burgers for one of us who wouldn't try the venison). Friendly service - offered tips on cooking the pie. The pie itself was just absolutely gorgeous - loads of venison and so so tender. Try it. Beef burgers were great as well.

Wonderful wee place, well worth a visit if you want to buy a delicious takeaway lobster or crab lunch. We bought small tubs of lobster salad, it was so tasty and fresh, and they were only £6 each. It was our favourite meal of our holiday. There are a couple of picnic tables outside, if you want to eat beside the small harbour. You can also order online for collection, they sell amazing seafood platters. They sell some nice gifts too. The Lobster Shop is not too far from St Cyrus Beach, if you are looking to buy a picnic.

The clubhouse was quiet with some people having a meal which they seemed to be enjoying and others just having a lunchtime drink. The local people were very friendly and the prices competitive. I enjoyed my visit

Wish this was parked nearer to where I live, as it is such a wonderful idea, food is Fantastic to get Thai food as a take way, wow.!!!!!!

Doing our tour of the North East 250 and spotted Websters. They had amazing pineapple cups and coconut fingers. Loooooved the envelope pastries! I could keep going on! 😆

Amazing food and fantastic view from the clubhouse windows. Burgers are amazing, loaded fries superb. Not so keen on the chicken - batter a bit crispy and disproportionate to the chicken inside.

Had the Best Cullen Skink for long time. Staff very friendly and helpful. If you have never tried HAWK Wok you are missing something special

Great Sunday roast Aberdeenshire roast rump of beef Yorkshire pudding veg and roast potatoes also half roast chicken with skirlie Hugh portions. Home made apple pie and custard fantastic.

Amazing experience doing the Chef’s tasting. We dined at several Michelin star restaurants in Scotland, and this one certainly deserves one. Dinner was absolutely delicious and the waiter and sommelier were outstanding. I highly recommend this experience.

This is one of the nicest places to eat. The meal was abundant, piping hot and very tasty. We were looked after so well with their pleasant, happy staff. The tables are great spaced so you don’t feel ‘crowded in’.
