I've heard amazing things about this place from soooo many people and I couldn't agree more after finally visiting myself. The place was VERY busy. But I know this is a daily occurrence. It's popular because it does everything well and they handle how busy it is well. Service was amazing from everyone. Every person that served us did so with a smile and so efficiently. The food was so hot and fresh. The coffees were tasty and beautiful. Will 100% go back. These guys know what they're doing! 10/10.

The Barn Tearoom is run by the lovely Maxine and her team of wonderful volunteers. Maxine is a beautiful baker and her scones are the best I’ve ever had. Her homemade soups are delicious too. If you’re passing, pop in for a tea, coffee, soup, sandwich or a wee scone! Wee play area in the corner for young kids too.

I found this place while looking for somewhere to eat as a tourist in Glasgow. The ambiance, the staff, and the food are amazing. The staff are friendly and very attentive to the tables. The food 🤤—we had goat cheese and cauliflower as a starter. It was one of the most delicious starters I’ve ever had. For the main course, I got the ribeye steak 😍. It was a large portion and very tasty. The steak was tender and came with the sauce and potatoes just the way I like, served with crispy onion rings. For a side, I also had mac & cheese 🫠. The inside is even better than the photos on Google. Such a cosy atmosphere

I was staying with family in the area who were looking for a "Local" rather than a big-chain Pub within walking distance. Popped in on a Saturday night just for drinks (not for food) .....The service was good, warm & friendly, as was the atmosphere. The cocktails were flowing as were the pints. They will definately be back.

My husband and I visited Butchers restaurant in Elderslie for our weekly date night. We had visited before several times and fancied chateaubriand so we went to the best steakhouse near us. The staff were friendly and attentive which is the usual. We were escorted to our table then we got our drinks and the menu states it takes 40 minutes to prepare our meal so we sat chatting and were pleasantly surprised when it came 15 minutes early. As we have had chateaubriand before in other restaurants we were expecting one piece of meat between us. The meat came on a sandwich Nike platter but it had been cut into 4 pieces and it did not keep the heat for very long. Usually it comes as one piece and you cut off pieces yourselves and it keeps it’s heat to the end. This was the only issue with our visit as it is an expensive cut of meat but was cold by the time we ate our first piece each. I think if I was to order it again I would ask them not to cut it up. Apart from that one issue we enjoyed our visit and will definitely return.

If your not from the village drive on ! Rude arrogant local men who would not move for my partner who asked politely to get past to go to the restroom. Would not move aside so I could buy a drink. Clearly 'outsiders' NOT welcome. Owner lovely and fantastic job with the refurbishment. We will NEVER BE BACK...LIKE THEY CARE.

Lovely lunch in a very relaxed atmosphere. ORLA, in the restaurant and Megan, who gave us a tour of the function rooms went out of their way to make this a very pleasant visit. Friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend a visit
