Best brekkie in the West of Scotland. Fab quality food, fab staff, fab atmosphere, fab everything! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good feed.

Overlooking Stoddard Square, which has various planters cared for by Evergreen Elderslie and picnic benches installed by the community , Elderslie Coffee Shop provides an ideal place for a coffee with friends as well as an excellent range of hot snacks at lunch. The staff are friendly and attentive. With car parking , plus a bus stop, close by it is ideal for a stop off prior to going to the airport, or day trip to Paisley

Food was amazing, huge portions and incredibly flavourful. The service was also great, staff looked like they work well together, everything just ran so smoothly considering it was a very busy lunch time sitting in and takeout! Will 100% be back!! The cafe was quite loud at that point but it’s to be expected for a small cafe and being very busy. Won’t put us off going back again!

As the title suggests, my review is based soley on customer service or to be precise the lack of it. Visted at a busy lunchtime and yes I understand that this in itself was part of the issue. Myself and my 89 year Mum wanted to sit-in, its busy fair enough, we'll wait. After a short while Mum said lets just get a takeaway. I ordered, paid and 25 minutes we are still waiting. Just as I realised it had been 25 minutes, a table becomes free. Young couple walked in, I was literally behind them to ask about the table. Sorry, just told them they can have it. Well, initially I wanted a table, I've been here a lot longer and with an elderly person. Could I have a word with the Manager? Spoke to another female, still no, but she was not the Manager. Whilst all this is happening, the couple are seated!! Then a man approaches, did not identify himself as the Manager. Tried to explain my annoyance, to be greeted by him in a loud tone, "I'm no agruing with you". Who is agruing, I'm annoyed and puting my point across. Another 5+ minutes has passed, still no takeaway. I'll have a refund please. Turned to a female and stated "give her a refund" and walked away. I did get the refund, as well as stares from everyone sitting/waiting. We left. Once outside, I phoned to ensure I got my point across; as I was not going to raise my voice in front of a whole shop or indeed be spoken to in that manner. The same male came to the phone, again he did not identify who he was or what position he held, I had to ask. Turns out his name is Daniel and he is the owner. He started with, "I'll listen to you and then I"ll talk". He also stated during our conversation; "you had already been told by 2 members of staff" and "we don't want any bad reviews, it affects our rating". Well, if your not going to listen to customers and treat them badly, expect more bad reviews. I certainly will not be recommending your establishment to anyone. Daniel says its their policy, that if you firstly want to sit-in, then order takeaway, then your name is off the sit-in list. What list, nobody asked for my name. Policy, is there a notice telling you about this? Your making this up as your going along! And, when you raised your voice, was there really any need for that? What I will say is the cafè is nice, the food looked good and the pricing reasonable. Just don't complain or raise an issue.

A wee hidden gem, perhaps even one to seek out if you like a nice burger. It’s not huge, but every morsel is quality, no gristle, succulent, full of flavour perfectly char grilled and served in a brioche with a little salad and cheese. It’s all you need, nothing more nothing less, but tasty as hell. Honestly, probably the finest burger I’ve had in a long long time, and I use a lot of the burger specialist places. The burger is served with frozen chips, but actually cooked properly, golden crispy, snap in the mouth, soft and fluffy inside. They are just ordinary frozen chips, but actually cooked well, a rarity. No need for a pile condiments to make them edible, just a little salt, and a hood portion too. The best bit for me is the price. Really good value. Simple, well prepared, really tasty. It’s kind of back to basics, good quality ingredients. They get everything right without being fussy, pretentious or greedy. I honestly cannot recommend highly enough.

We have called to book a table, but it is a first come first served basis, but the lady did advise a wait would not be too long. We arrived just after 1pm to a very busy café, but the waitress was so helpful and advised when the next table for 5 of us would be ready. The lunchtime rush was on, but the food was sailing out the kitchen and the staff seemed totally on top of everything. All the waiting and serving staff are just lovely. The food was immense! Hugh portions, my steak sandwich was excellent. Homemade soup and sandwiches for the table all went down a treat along with a massive breakfast that is served all day. Highly recommend! The cakes also all looks great. The café is attached to the butcher next door which is also excellent and The Butchers Shop restaurant, which is also very good.

had breakfast there this morning. I had eggs benedict which was without doubt the best I have ever had. The service from the second I walked in the door was impeccable. Well done all involved for running a great wee business.

First time here and I was very impressed . Sit in or takeaway but only six or so tables, be quick! Some pavement tables too. Lovely menu and very friendly staff. Good range of drinks and does lunches as well. Worth a visit.

Been going in on a Monday after our golf since the club don't serve food on a Monday. Good choice on the menu to suit all and at very reasonable prices. Good food served well.

Small but perfectly formed Cafe. The service and food were both exceptional! Great menu too. Our brunch here was superb!

Held a Macmillan Coffee Morning in my office this week and we raised £205.50.. Thank you so much to Danny and staff at Elderslie Coffee Shop for providing the breakfast rolls free of charge in support of Macmillan. 🍳☕🥓🌭 They were absolutely delicious 😀 such a kind gesture, allowing more money to go to the charity 🥰

Stopped here for a quick brunch ,lovely food sausage that good i had to go next door to there butchers and buy some. Decent coffee too quick service. But the square sausage is the star

Staff work endlessly behind counter , Very pleasant staff service is great 👍. Food was beautiful . I have only moved to this area this year . Would recommend but im sure with quality and service no need for me to.recommend . I got steak panini with 2 latte to wash down

I travel 25 miles once a month for the amazing butcher meat next door and today was the first opportunity to eat in the cafe as its normally closed by the time i go. Had a tasty full breakfast which was excellent value for money. The bread being served looked so good i cant wait to go back for the soup & sandwich combo. The fillings were packed and so fresh looking.
