Will be visiting again soon
Cheers guys
This is a gem of a coffee shop. I go often. I love the coffee, atmosphere is great, (varies on time of day and day of week). But the staff are what make it great. Friendly, welcoming and always curious.
I’d seen social media posts about this place recently in Leamington Spa, so being inquisitive I had to experience the breakfast.
Hidden away I found it … from the moment I walked in I was welcomed by a hello from the team behind the counter. I loved the ground floor seating area, compact yet homely feel. Loved the semi open kitchen so you can see the kitchen staff and fresh ingredients on view.
There’s no flashiness about Trof, then there’s no need to be as the food says it all from the presentation, taste and quality.
Every ingredient tasted incredible, cooked to perfection, undoubtedly the best hash brown’s EVER! The beans were different and initially I thought did they work with the breakfast. However, the taste worked so well. The sourdough toast was perfect and lightly buttered. The Trof absolutely nailed it and in my opinion the BEST breakfast in Leamington Spa and worth every penny.
The staff were so friendly, attentive and that’s a plus for me, a smile goes a long way and this team seemed to a very happy bunch.
Would I return? Absolutely yes and I can see this being very hard to beat.
This place is an absolute gem. Poke is sooo tasty.
If you’ve never had Poke before, go here.
If you fancy something healthy and satisfying to eat, go here.
Charming service and good food - I definitely recommend!
This place was a real find. We were visiting for one evening only to have an experience night at the Warwick Gin Company and needed somewhere close by to eat prior. Having no knowledge of the area we arrived not knowing what places we would find to eat. The outside is plain and just informs you the restaurant is Greek. There was one table taken so not queuing down the street but the inside looked neat and tidy, and we didn't have too much time so in we went. From the onset, being quiet was a positive because the owner poured his undivided attention onto us. Whilst we perused the menu, he brought some small samples of the specials and he left them with us to try. Being a small restaurant we could see and hear the chef which made the whole experience good. We ordered one of the specials (Hirino Me Prasso) and the mixed grill, with a side of pitta and Tzatziki. The mixed grill also came with Oregano Fries and salad. The special came with garlic bread and feta and we ordered a house red to drink. The service was prompt and unobtrusive. Our host knew when to chat and when to leave us be. When we did chat, he was so polite and friendly, recounting his memories of Greece amongst other things. The food when it came was as good if not better than we'd hoped and we found some space for some traditional desserts. If and when, I visit this area again, I'll be sure to come and eat here again.
We were so excited that we’d got a reservation for our Christmas get together at a new restaurant that sold our two favourite things, cheese and wine. What a shame they couldn’t deliver. Waited 1.5 hours for 2 charcuterie boards and some cheese. Food was ok but the service let the place down. Despite a number of staff, they all seemed more interested in their own conversations than; checking back, upselling or service.
Ackee Tree catered a birthday party for us this weekend and it was fantastic. Curries, rice & peas, patties - all delicious. Cooked perfectly on time and for a really reasonable price. Would definitely do this again with them for any occasion.
We have gone to Brasilia To Go every weekend for the last month or so, and have never had a bad meal.
We have settled on the Club rice box and the Sweet Chilli Chicken rice box and potato side and it has been delicious with amazing friendly service each time we have visited, and it's currently our favourite place to eat when we walk into Leamington Spa.
It's clean and quick and in a great location too. Thanks!
We have also ordered once via deliveroo and the food arrived perfectly packaged and tasty very quickly.
I booked a suprise afternoon tea for my mums birthday. They provided delicious sandwiches and cakes, unlimited tea and even put up a banner. Wonderful little place and amazing food.
Situated at the top end of Leamington, small cafe, road parking, has ramp for buggies and wheel chair access, Community owned and run as a not for profit business.
There was v cheerful lady running the cafe the day we visited, limited menu but we ate v tasty paninis, drank excellent cafe and it was all v reasonably priced. The cafe was full, all the food looked good and there was a v relaxed atmosphere.
This is a great find, I would recommend here and will revisit.
Grub Hub is an excellent family run sandwich bar. There are a few outside tables in a pleasant pedestrian alley. The couple running the cafe were very friendly and accommodating, being happy to make up sandwiches to order with whatever fillings we wanted. Although there are officially no toilets for customers, they were happy to let us use theirs.
