The best restaurants in St Matthew's Walsall West Midlands

This was a gem in Walsall. Jay is warm, friendly and the staff all provided great customer service. My mom who is 81 was really looked after. The food was delicous, very fresh & delicous Masala Dosa, crispy Bajia and all the rest, a great variery of vegetarian/vegan food. Jay's wife is the amazing cook cooking all the dishes. We all enjoyed the visit & miss the place.

Monday lunchtime, ordered the Chicken, Bacon, Lettuce & Bacon toasted wrap, plus an Americano. Wrap took an age to arrive (they warn you about this!), and they may have actually overlooked my order until reminded (!)..worth waiting for, double the size I expected, very tasty. Cafe is at the front of a community church, although you wouldn't guess (not 'churchy' at all, more like 'hipster' in style, and family-friendly), very nice toilets, too. They also host monthly events such as Craft Club, Chess Night, book swap, & American Coffee Morning (for Americans in Walsall - no kidding! Making Walsall great again!) Was only in town for half a day but didn't see anything else to compare with The Table's decor, ambience and menu.

Great attention from the friendly staff, food was exceptional, draft beer good price, all in all a great meal. Both had Lasuni Mirchi Chicken, tasted amazing! Will certainly visit again, looking forward to trying the Lamb Railway curry.

This is a new curry restaurant in a town which has always boasted some quality rivals. But this is not expensive, the menu and food freshness and quality are excellent. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful..Its a real asset to our town..Try it

Have this every Thursday with my uncle, probably my favourite night of the week and the one I most look forward to after work. Amazing food at amazing prices, served by lovely staff! 5* from me!

Such a lovely cafe with excellent service, the food is fresh and really well presented, I had the chicken tikka sandwich, and my mum had a cheese and onion sandwich, both came with a side salad and coleslaw. My mum commented on how the atmosphere really made it feel like a proper Saturday Afternoon. The tea was Yorkshire Tea too :). I'm looking forward to trying the afternoon tea next time.

We nearly walked past but so glad we didn't. A 'no fry' policy is in force so seems healthier plus a great blend of tex mex style with Indian flavours and good prices too. We tried the quesadillas and burritos. Prepared quite quickly to order plus they do catering packs. Looking forward to going back.

This restaurant has opened fairly recently and we went for the first time 2 weeks ago. It has a very homely atmosphere and the food is excellent. There is a good variety of dishes as well as a huge variety of pizzas.

These wonderful people give up their time to feed the poor and homeless. Gods blessing to Walsall

I went to Kerry’s’s Tasty Cakes and her cakes are amazing!! They’re so Delicious!! My favourite is the Sprinkle Cake. It’s definitely Worth trying and if you haven’t tried the sundaes, you’re definitely missing out!!🤩🤩

Really good food both veggie and meat options . Always very well prepared and such a good price. Definitely will visit again !
