Wonderful tea room, gift shop and b&b. We stayed for two nights in their lovely b&b - immaculate, spacious and very comfortable. Tea, coffee machine, fridge and a complementary bottle of local wine. Really lovely hosts too.

Perfect Sunday roast! 7 of us had lunch and we all agreed that the fontmell is back to being one of the best pubs for miles around. The food and the service are excellent, and the walk from the village over fontmell down is a perfect way to work up an appetite.

2 bacon baps and 2 coffees was £18. The bacon was fatty, the rolls were small. The coffee was watery. Then on top of that they added a 10% service charge without telling us. Luckily I noticed it on the bill and told them to remove it. The service was nothing special. The food was poor quality. The toilets were dirty and they had only been open an hour. It’s a lovely setting and it was a fantastic place before it was taken over and renovated. It’s a real shame….
