Stopped for coffee, spotted the luxury hot chocolate on the board and changed our minds. Loaded with cream and marshmallows and sprinkles and sauce and a flake, we could not have asked for more. Delish, and quick service too. Thank you, ladies :)

Lovely pub , great food and service.

We had an awesome Sunday lunch here, out in the garden. The food was delicious, the staff were so friendly and polite and helpful with our kids and timings. The climbing frame was a huge bonus on our sunny visit. We’ve been before and will come again.

Went for lunch with friends. The food was lovely, fabulous beef followed by gorgeous bread and butter pudding. The staff were friendly and attentive without being pushy. We would definitely go again.

Me and my husband went to the Red Lion for the first time for lunch to celebrate our anniversary. The staff were all so lovely and welcoming. The food was really tasty. Would recommend.

A last minute decision to pop into a local pub for an evening meal for two people. A great choice I must say. The food and bar service were excellent. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The food was so hot and very good quality too. I will definitely return. I nice atmosphere was also very welcome.

We wanted to make a stop off on out long drive from Devon to Sussex and didn’t want to stop at any of the usual chains. Then this place appeared and we quite liked it. It’s definitely not fancy! But the food was decent and there was plenty of it. Also, (unexpectedly I must say) they had a gluten free menu and lots of options for coeliacs. I would just double check things with them (they weren’t sure on the salad dressing), but otherwise all good.
