I've now made this a regular start to my day during the week on my daily commute. It sets me up for the day to have a freshly made latte or a great tasting tea with some granary toast and butter which can even be put in a biodegradable, takeaway, sleeve keeping it nice and warm. I absolutely love the new chocolate chip cookies and the new muffin flavours (raspberry and white chocolate and poppy seed and lemon) they are delicious.
I now have to make sure I pick up extras for my friends and family so I don't have to share on the odd occasion that my treat makes it all the way through the day without me eating it before I get home. I've had two delicious free hot drinks after filling two loyalty cards which is a nice little perk.
The lady who runs this gorgeous little place is friendly and always serves your coffee with a smile. The other customers coming and going at the same sort of time as me are a lovely bunch of people, popping by to get their day off to a great start too.
I live 25 miles away and if I don't have my commute for a few days or even during a weekend I really look forward to my next stop at The Cafe Box! This really is the best coffee in the area and I love the fact that I'm supporting a small, local and original business that deserves to do well.
Came here for a hot chocolate & it was delicious. Both my husband & I had the Hazelnut flavour. There was plenty of choice & staff were friendly.
Will definitely pop in again.

We were looking for a new chippy and saw that Sandra’s had alot of good reviews and I’m glad we decided to give it a go. The staff were really welcoming and friendly and all the food we ordered was hot and fresh even after driving home it was still hot . Generous portions of chips and the fish was delicious served with fresh lemon and the chips were the best we’ve had. All the other items were also perfectly cooked and the box of donner kebab meat and chips also went down very well. So overall it was def worth the longer drive. Highly recommended.
Paid another visit to this delightful cafe. The staff are/were very polite and helpful, the toasted sandwiches were delightful and we stayed for cake. Would definitely recommend the gluten free coconut cake, soft moist and fresh. Would have had seconds but we had the last piece.
Would highly recommend a visit 💚
Lovely little spot by the river. Staff were exceptionally friendly and I felt very welcome.Had the ice cream which was divine and will have to go back for the home made cakes as they looked delicious. A good find!
I popped back after my last visit in March. My wife at hairdresser had the car wash half an hour to wait, so coffee and cake time.
Quite a few in and one outside latte and cake from the counter. A good choice. The food coming out looked good. We will have to come here for a meal sometime. Great service very polite.
Coffee was nice.
Croissant was crusty, flaky and dry.
Floor looked like it hadn’t been swept in days.
Not the best experience unfortunately.
We were only visiting the area so won’t need to be back. Glad it’s not my local though.
Looking for somewhere different to go for lunch, we decided to channel our inner sailors and popped on the ferry to Cowes. Our mission? To discover a gem we’d found in the Michelin Guide, nestled midway up a hill so steep it could double as a ski slope.
We arrived early and, naturally, indulged in a pre-lunch cocktail. I savoured an excellent dry Martini while my wife enjoyed their Signature Cocktail. Both were top-notch, though the chairs were so low I felt like I was sitting on the floor at a toddler’s tea party. Seriously, they were lower than a limbo-ing rattlesnake.
We made it to the restaurant and embarked on a three-course Sunday Lunch adventure. For starters, we had Beef Carpaccio and Trout, which were delightful. For the mains, we chose Roast Beef and Guinea Fowl (delicious but portioned like I was on a diet). We finished with treacle tart and Mille Fois, all accompanied by a delicious Rosé that danced on our taste buds.
A delightful surprise was seeing the owners dining in the room, tucking into the same Sunday Lunch. It’s always reassuring when the owners eat their own cooking – it’s a sign they believe in their food as much as we did.
My only beef (pun intended) with the place was the table and chairs. I get that it’s a 'Bistro,' but white tablecloths would elevate the New England-style decor from charming to downright chic.
In summary, a fantastic dining experience with cocktails to die for and food worth the ferry ride. Just remember to bring a cushion if you don't want to feel like you're dining in the Shire.
Such a warning and friendly place. The best for coffee and gluten free cakes. Amazing place to go after a long day to have some naughty treats. Please open again soon

Was served by an indubidly elegant worker today, he performed his task with such might and rigour and was an excellent role model of what an employee of WPC should be. I commend him for his excellent customer service and i shall be back in the future.
