Excellent service, always served with a smile. Traditional local pub, with great facilities, including a lovely big beer garden out back for good weather. Would 100% recommend a visit, for the wide range of drinks and the lovely bar staff.

I came along to the carvery on Sunday and absolutly loved it. The quality of the food was excellent and the staff were fabulous and couldnt do enough for us. My husband ordered of the main menu as isnt really a fan of a sunday roast and he said the burger was fantastic. We will be going back.

The food was nice and tasty but even the standard NY taco was spicy. The fries were really really nice. Would have been a higher rating but they forgot the fries for one of the meals and gave the wrong drink but uber wouldn’t do anything about it so that was annoying.

We had food here throughout our stay at smokies hotel and it was so yummy with very generous portions!! Staff were lovely too thank you

My relatives used this place for food to be provided for the family after the loss of someone close. The service was good. The owner is very knowledgable.

Wow. Don't let the relatively unchanged aesthetics inside this place fool you: the difference since this place changed from "Erin's Italian" to "Roma Italian" is awesome. The pizza is FAR better. Erin's was what I got when I was exhausted from work and had no other option, whereas Roma gave me a delicious pizza with a light, fluffy and perfectly cooked crust, fresh and stringy cheese and some of the freshest and most tasty cured meat toppings I've ever eaten - all seasoned beautifully and, impressively, with no grease at all! The pizza box was completely bone-dry! Waiting for my pizza, I saw pasta dishes being made fresh, not reheated from premade. A container of freshly sliced potatoes sat waiting to be fried into chips, unlike most takeaways that buy them in precut, excessively oiled and frozen. All the ingredients I saw were fresh and very high quality, and it really reflected in the taste. Staff were very polite and apologised for a wait that was perfectly reasonable - exactly the time you'd expect to wait for a well-made pizza. A bit more expensive than Erin's was, but Roma remains competitive in pricing with most takeaways while offering much higher quality than anywhere else at a similar price point. Easily one of my top 2 favourite takeaways. I wasn't sure whether to bother trying Roma after Erin's just offered 'okay' pizza with low quality ingredients that was made super thin to cook super fast - but I'm glad I did! So happy to have this place right on my doorstep!

Food is amazing and during tough times where prices rocket, Sweet palace have managed to keep prices low. Amazing!

Booked table for 1.30 the restaurant doors were still locked on arrival. Had to go and ask how to get in finally got into an empty restaurant and waited over 10 minutes before a member of staff finally arrived. Was unapologetic hushed us to a table while she went to find keys for the door where other diners were stood outside waiting. Another 10 minutes for a waiter who gave us a light lunch Menu. We had booked for the fully advertised 2 course Sunday lunch. Asked the waiter if Sunday lunch was on, and they had to enquire in the kitchen. Who then offered chicken and said the full roast advertised was not available as they had not ordered any good due to having no bookings up front. They had only received bookings today. Obviously we had little hope for a decent meal as the staff were so unprofessional and unenthusiastic. We left and had a fab carvery meal down the road. Definitely do not recommend. Complete waste of time!
