Best Chippy in the stowmarket area! After trying a few, no one comes close. Chips are always perfectly cooked, you can ask for a box to avoid paper wrap. Prices are pretty good and the staff are always welcoming. The place is clean and there are around 4 spaces for cars just outside or you can park at the petrol station. Fish and battered sausages are always crispy, well seasoned and not extremely greasy. Two can eat for under £15.

My Dad has recently moved to Stowmarket and I was visiting for the festive period, my dad had not ventured out for dinner yet so a quick google search for Sunday dinner later and we ended up at the Magpie Inn for a Sunday carvery, the food was excellent and the staff went above and beyond, even making a fuss of the kids, couldn’t do enough for us. We will be back regularly from now on, thank you as everything you did today was such a nice welcoming!

disgusting filthy place, dont visit, third room we had to accept, didn't stay the second night, bar area, rooms all tatty, they say its going to be refurbished next year, it wants closing down now at least till this work has carried out.
