The best restaurants in Bacton and Old Newton Mid Suffolk East of England

Vegetable lasagne was mostly dried tomato sauce with melted cheese over the top,the meat pie was ok ,but vegetables were rock hard,then as for dessert the brownie was still totally frozen,the waitress said "if you take off the ice-cream I will go pop brownie back in the microwave "I asked for another one which was provided,I have had meals here with friends before which were lovely,very poor on this occasion

Brilliant staff even better food

Popped in on the off-chance of getting a gluten free meal. After checking we got a table with a menu with quite a few gf options annotated on the menu. Had battered prawns with a cajun dip which the wife enjoyed. I had the chicken skewer not gf but very nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced and close to where we were staying.

Ordered a drink and the barista made a face and turned to her colleague who rolled her eyes and also made a face, then ignored us when asked what the issue was. Found this incredibly rude, which made our visit very uncomfortable and won't be returning to this cafe.
