First experience at this beautiful cosy pub. I was recommended to try by friends. My husband and I had a lovely lunch, food was well presented and tasted good. Couldn't fault the waitress, very attentive and friendly. We shall be back.

What a beautiful setting for a lazy Sunday afternoon. We sat outside underneath the imposing Victorian Viaduct that has 32 arches and is over 300m long. There's also a great park for the kids and a lovely little walk that takes in all the scenery. Thanks to all the staff working on Sunday afternoon, they were all lovely.

On the 28th Feb 2025, I visited with my partner and my parents for a magical performance from the tribute of Elton John! This is the second time we've been to see the act, and both times thought it was amazing. The staff, food, drinks, and service were exceptional as always. I can't wait to go back!

Excellent pub with fine selection of real ale. We received a warm welcome and were served quickly and professionally with our drinks. On a whim we decided to have lunch which was superb: I enjoyed the home made mince and onion pie in suet pastry with beautifully cooked vegetables, and my husband enjoyed the Vegetable and Quorn curry. The pub had a good crowd of regulars which made for a happy and community atmosphere. The pub is old style- just as we like it; spotlessly clean and traditional in all regards. Highly recommend this pub and look forward to visiting again when next in Bures.
