The best restaurants in Heath South Kesteven East Midlands

During our stay in a nearby village in August we went to this pub 3 times. The food was very good. The service was quick and friendly. We were very happy there. However when we visited this place in September, the landlady was very patronising and unfriendly. We were disappointed.

Oh dear! Perhaps we caught them on a bad day. I don't think that a couple of leaves of Iceberg, three slices of cucumber and a couple of bits of tomato can really be described as a salad! (Minute steak with onion salad [that's onion salad without any onion!]) The little pieces of 'minute steak' were quite tough (most were fed to my dogs). The chicken & sweet corn salad was just as lacking in quality. Setting was pleasant and service friendly but not what I would call acceptable at a cost of £23.90 (with one buttered bap). Better off at the pub round the corner?

Tried all 3 of the Nepalese Curries (Chicken, Lamb, Salmon) They were all a pleasure. I've now tried them all again and still can not decide which is my favourite
